Still feeling so grateful after such a special evening in the Diamond District. 💎✨

It was such an honor to showcase my work alongside three incredibly talented women designers, @kris.averi , @elvie.fine , and @muljihouse , and to share a room filled with people who genuinely love jewelry, craftsmanship, and the stories behind what we create.🥂

A huge thank you to @marianasrusso and @andrealucillepooler for bringing us all together and creating an evening centered around connection, collaboration, and celebrating emerging women designers. I’m so grateful to both of you for including me and for continuing to create opportunities like this within our industry. 💎☺️

And an enormous thank you to @therealdiamantaire and @juliuskleindiamonds for welcoming us into their beautiful space. Mark gave us such an incredible presentation on diamonds, and we even had the opportunity to go behind the scenes for a diamond cutting tour right here in the Diamond District. Seeing the process up close, watching the skill and precision that goes into transforming a rough diamond, was honestly one of my favorite parts of the evening. As someone who works with these stones every day, getting to see another side of their journey was pretty magical. 💎

And of course, the evening would not have been complete without sipping on @jazzagecocktails beautifully inspired cocktails on the balcony. 🍸✨ Such a thoughtful touch that made the whole night feel even more special.

But more than anything, I left feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful for the opportunity to share Magick Alchemy, grateful for the people who showed up to support me, grateful for my friends who continue to cheer me on, and grateful to be part of a jewelry community where we can learn from one another, open doors for one another, and celebrate each other’s wins. Special thank you to Kris and @stephyaijewelry ✨

Back home and still riding the high from another unforgettable trip to Montana. 💙

This time felt different. Knowing the mines a little better gave us the chance to explore more intentionally, but somehow I still left wishing I had just one more day… or maybe another week. 😆

More than anything, this trip reminded me how much work goes into every Montana sapphire we admire. Spending time with the families and miners, hearing about their day-to-day lives, and seeing the dedication it takes to uncover these gems gave me an even deeper appreciation for the people behind them.

I also had the chance to meet some incredibly talented faceters whose artistry transforms rough sapphires into the beautiful gemstones we all fall in love with. Watching every step of the journey, from the earth to a finished gem, made me appreciate just how many skilled hands and passionate people are involved along the way.

I came home feeling inspired to work with Montana sapphires even more. My hope is to help bridge that connection by creating one-of-a-kind custom pieces that celebrate not only these beautiful gemstones, but also the miners, faceters, and small businesses who make their journey possible. Supporting them while creating meaningful heirlooms for my clients feels incredibly special.

Last week I was standing in the Montana heat, digging through buckets of gravel, hoping to uncover something beautiful. 💚

That trip reminded me why I love Montana sapphires so much. Every stone has its own personality, and this one might be my favorite.

In softer light it glows a dreamy sage green. Turn it toward the sun and flashes of teal blue come alive. Bring it indoors, and watch it transform into a deep ocean blue. It’s the kind of gemstone that never looks exactly the same twice.

Set in recycled 14k rose gold and surrounded by a delicate halo of diamonds, this one-of-a-kind ring lets the sapphire tell the story.

I always come home from Montana with a deeper appreciation for the miners, the families, and now the talented faceters who transform these rough crystals into heirloom gems. Being part of that journey from the earth to a finished ring is something I’ll never take for granted.

✨ DAY 2 of mining for Montana Sapphires ✨

We wanted to experience sapphire mining the way the miners do… and it gave us a whole new appreciation for every single gemstone. 💙⛏️

This time, instead of buying pre-filled buckets, we dug our own virgin pay dirt from the mine. That meant moving massive rocks, shoveling gravel, filling 10 buckets, hauling them back, and spending hours sifting through layer after layer of dirt.

By the end of the day and over 600 pounds of gravel later, we were completely exhausted… and only had time to search through 2 of the 10 buckets.

So far, we’ve gone through 120 pounds of gravel and found just 3 sapphires. 🤯

It’s incredible how much hard work, patience, and perseverance goes into finding these gems. After doing just one day ourselves, our respect for the miners who do this every day is on a whole different level. Every sapphire has a story long before it ever becomes a piece of jewelry.

Now we have 8 buckets and 480 more pounds of material left to search, and honestly… we have no idea what treasures are still hiding inside. 👀💎

OMG!! 😱 Look what we found on the very first day of our 5-day Montana sapphire mining trip! 💙

This is our second trip to Montana, and we’ve never uncovered a sapphire anywhere near this size. I honestly wasn’t expecting it. We only had two more piles left to search, it was over 100°F, we were completely exhausted… and then this happened. ✨

It ended up being the second largest sapphire found at the mine that day! 🤯

Moments like this are exactly why we came back. Getting to experience this with my mom, sister, and brother made it even more special. 💛 My brother also found an incredible orange sapphire! He actually tore his ACL just a few days before we left for this trip, but he still came along and powered through. Such a trooper. ❤️

And this sapphire? It’s staying in the U.S. this time! 😍 We’d love to have it cut domestically.

✨ Finally sharing our Montana sapphire haul! 💙⛰️

We spent 3 full days mining at 4 different Montana sapphire mines, searching through buckets of gravel one stone at a time. After sending our haul to Sri Lanka for cutting, we waited nearly a full year to finally see the finished faceted gems… and they were absolutely worth the wait.

We chose to leave every sapphire unheated, preserving their natural color and character. 💎

The final results:
✨ 264 faceted sapphires
✨ 46.73 total carats
✨ An incredible spectrum of blues, teals, greens, yellows, and dreamy parti-colored gems in a variety of cuts and sizes. We even found a few garnets!

There’s something so magical about watching a rough stone you found yourself transform into a gemstone that will one day become a forever heirloom.

🌌 A fragment of the night sky, forged into a ring. 🌙✨

There has always been something comforting about looking up into the stars. They remind us that even in the darkest skies, there is always light waiting to be found. This piece was inspired by that feeling.

A shimmering blue sandstone hexagon captures the endless sparkle of a clear midnight sky, while a hand-fabricated white gold star rests at its center, set with a brilliant diamond that shines like a guiding light. The blackened band echoes the darkness of the night, allowing every glimmer to feel even more luminous.

More than a ring, it’s a tiny constellation you can carry with you. A reminder to dream boldly, trust your own path, and always keep your eyes turned toward the stars.

As SOON as I posted these star faceted sapphires on my story last night, my inbox got flooded with so much love and interest!! Honestly I’ve been hoarding too many beautiful gems, and almost forgot I acquired a 7 pair lot at the Tucson gem show. 😆 Thank you so much for the kind suggestions, I immediately felt inspired to carve this gorgeous 1.62ct pink oval sapphire with a pair of the green star sapphires. Just needs a few more prongs! Wax carving at the bench is one of my favorite things to do from all the other hats I wear to keep Magick Alchemy running. 🤩
