Still waxing but thinking about laser hair removal? 👀

One of the most common questions we get is:
“How long do I need to wait after waxing before starting laser?”

Laser needs the hair follicle to be present in order to target it. Waxing removes the hair from the root, so we need to give it time to grow back before your first laser session.

We generally recommend waiting about 4 weeks after your last wax before starting laser hair removal.

And once you begin your laser treatments, put the wax away. 🤍
Between sessions, shaving is the way to go — it removes the hair above the skin without pulling it from the follicle.

We wish there were one number that worked for everyone — but your hair has its own growth cycle.

Laser is most effective on hairs in the active growth phase, and not every hair is in that phase at the same time. That’s why one or two appointments aren’t a complete treatment plan.

Most clients need approximately 6–8 sessions for significant hair reduction, although the number can vary depending on the area, hair and skin characteristics, hormones, and individual response.

And yes — you can start noticing changes much earlier. ✨
