28 shows in 7 days for 728 Members and Guests in the Close-Up Gallery of The World Famous Magic Castle. When The Magic Castle opened in 1963, there were 3 rooms: The Main Bar (priorities), Invisible Irma’s Piano Room, and The Close-Up Gallery.

The greatest magicians of modern history have performed in this room, The Magic Castle’s most intimate performance space. Thank you so much Jack Goldfinger and Melody for entrusting me with this showroom for a week. Performing during Cocktail Hour meant I was, in some ways, setting the tone for many of the guests’ evening, as I was the first and earliest show they were seeing. It was a responsibility I took great pride and care in.

Thank you so much to @adrianvegamagician and @thesurrealmayhew for being wonderful roommates in the Close Up Gallery this week, you both inspired me with your incredibly impressive magic and open hearts. It was my honor being part of the Close Up Gallery’s lineup with you.

Thank you so much to Jen, Mitch, Aja, Amanda, Jerry, and Ben for introducing me before each performance and choosing the most wonderful guests to join me at the table to be part of the show. Thank you to Jordyn and Carlos for taking such good care of me and making sure I was well fed. It’s the employees of the Magic Castle that make it feel like Home to so many magicians around the world.

I have so much gratitude and overwhelming love for all of my family & friends who came to see me, many driving from San Diego and NorCal for the evening. Sharing the evening with the ones I love is truly the best part of being a Performer and Member at the Magic Castle.

Here’s to more memories, and hopefully more rooms to play in throughout the Magic Castle. Until next time, when I’m Home again.

21 shows in 7 days for 1,218 members & guests of the World Famous Magic Castle; including a buyout night from Netflix. What a dream come true.

Thank you to the Magic Castle and all of her staff for welcoming me Home for the week. The employees of the Magic Castle are her heart and soul - they are why the Castle is a Home to so many magicians from around the world.

Thank you to all of my family and friends, new and old, in joining me to celebrate and share in everything Magic has to offer. Thank you all for your messages of support and love 💜Thank you to the love of my life Faith for supporting and believing in me this week, just as you do every day of the year.

Thank you to my mentors and friends in Magic who guided me here. Thank you for taking the time to teach me how to be a better magician and performer and busker and man. I feel so loved and so lucky to have this community of magic around me. You all inspire me to reach for new heights within myself.

Thank you to George Iglesias the Peruvian Wizard for being my roommate in the Parlour. Working with you and discussing magic theory was a pleasure and an honor. Thank you for making this week so wonderful George. I cannot wait to work with you again.

This truly was the best week of my life🙏🏼

Preteen summer days at a magic shop, street performing at 14, and learning from the best mentors and friends a kid could have imagined. It’s been an adventure I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Thank you Don, thank you Bob, thank you Dr. Jeff, thank you Stephen, and thank you Jimmy for changing my life and helping me along the way. taken in The Magic Castle by @magicofjeff

The World Famous Magic Castle, March 10-16, in the Parlour of Prestidigitation. A dream come true after so many hours on the street.

I did it Don; I made it home.

I wouldn’t be here without my mentors, most especially Stephen ‘Sleeveless’ Sloan and Jimmy Talksalot who both taught me how to be a real busker. This week is for them, and for Don Driver, for Bob Elliott, for Dr. Jeff Pearson. taken in The Magic Castle by @magicofjeff

We wanted to show everyone some of what makes CHICAGO MAGICAL, the L trains running above the city streets, the Art Institute Lion, the Iconic Skyline of course as Chicago is the birthplace of the skyscraper! You’ll notice little touches of doves in the air and bunnies commuting to work, my Cups and cards, and an ode to a Magic Classic with the lady in half.

THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH TO KELLY MCMAHON for being so freaking awesome every single step of the way. I cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone’s artistic needs

The World Famous Magic Castle’s Close-Up Gallery.
The first & most intimate showroom.
Adorned with portraits of Dai Vernon, Charlie Miller, a historical tableau of the Castle’s transformation, along with caricatures of legendary performers and Members of the Castle, it was my honor to share the week with so many of you - old and new friends alike.
Thank you so much Magic Castle, LLC | @danapleasantphotography for capturing this opportunity.
Until next time I’m home.

The Magic you find is the Magic you seek. Chicago has a rich history of Magic, the birthplace of bar/ restaurant magic we know today. Everyone made me feel so welcomed and at home for my weekend of performances at the @chicagomagiclounge 654♣️.
I hope to see you all again very soon, thank you for such a special memory I will always hold close and dear.
