New EP from me up on Bandcamp for pre-order today (digital only). The lead track Cruisen is available to stream now.

The Signs EP is a companion piece to my recent Signals album created from the same sessions, but looking in a different direction.

Where Signals explored the mysteries, memories and hidden histories of the Surrey Hills, Signs follows those signals towards the distant glow of the city beyond.

BUNKR - This Side Of Forever
Signals (VLSI 2026)

Signals is the 4th album and latest addition to the BUNKR oeuvre.

I was listening to a lot of early hardcore rave and jungle music during the production process which definitely fed into utilising more breakbeats on the tracks here. It turned out alright I think.

BUNKR - Ceres Outpost
Antenne (VLSI 2024)

Antenne, the third BUNKR LP, paid homage to the once great pirate radio stations that dominated the FM dial throughout the ‘90s. One such faceless station (which we dubbed Antenne) transmitted an endless broadcast of widescreen techno, breakbeats, ambient washes and occasional forays into obscure German synth music.

Who or what was behind Antenne we may never know; without doubt the unknown makes it all the more alluring. Antenne transmitted and informed, we listened and absorbed.

BUNKR - Graveyard Orbit
Graveyard Orbit (VLSI 2021)

Second albums have a rep for being difficult to write, but I luckily found the opposite to be the case. Graveyard Orbit came together fairly quickly, possibly due to the fact that Covid had us all locked down with not a lot else to do.

The graveyard orbit, also known as a junk or disposal orbit, lies far away from common operational orbits and is where satellites are moved to at the end of their operational life, endlessly circling space with no use or purpose.

BUNKR - For The Birds
The Initiation Well (VLSI 2019)

The debut BUNKR album, named after a deep subterranean inverted tower that can be found in Sintra (Portugal) and was designed for secret ceremonial and tarot initiation rites. If you’re ever over in Lisbon, I’d absolutely recommend a trip to Quinta da Regaleira to visit this most intriguing of monuments.

BUNKR - Appl Skies
Appl Skies EP (VLSI 2018)

Another early BUNKR work. Still figuring out the BUNKR sound (and still trying to figure that out 8 years later). I usually start with melodies and atmospheres, the beats come second. This track possibly exemplifies that approach - ultra-melodic with a soft 4/4 shuffle underpinning everything and keeping things moving, easy does it.

BUNKR - Beach Brew
Outerstellar EP (VLSI 2018)

This is where it all began, the first BUNKR track I ever wrote. Originally had a working title of Sausage Ad as I was trying to pitch a track for a German sausage TV ad. They wanted something cool, spacey and a touch Balearic. I didn’t clinch the ad, but it did unintentionally set me off on the BUNKR path I’ve been treading ever since.
