Magnes: Helping you discover, understand and enjoy Classical music!
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We are so excited to return to the Monkstown Church on Saturday 26th April for our (by now) traditional Spring concert! 💛 Normally we perform as a wind quintet, but this time we will also put on a hat of a wind sextet since the wonderful @macdaraclarinet is joining us on bass clarinet for Janacek’s Mladi. 😍 Mozart, Hindemith and the good old Bizet will also be performed, while we aim to charm you with as many different colours and styles as we can. Hope to see you there, concert begins at 7:30pm! 🌷😊 taken in Monkstown, Dublin by @magnes_ensemble

Thank you so much to every one of you who came to hear us in the debut performance of the Magnes Ensemble the previous weekend. 🌼 It was so amazing to see you there. We had the most wonderful time performing at the Monkstown Church and look forward to returning for future concerts! Keep tuned 🥳🪄

My personal thank you to my wonderful colleagues: Sylvain Gnemmi, John Leonard, Cormac Ó hAodáin and John Finucane for their wonderful, virtuosic playing and hard work that went into making this programme come together. Special thank you also to Marzena Finucane without whose energy and help I would have struggled to present this concert as beautifully as she did (especially with the marvelous programmes). We cannot wait to return soon again!
