Sara Joy Gillbeau (@sarajoy.creates) has been a weaver of lyric and song since childhood. Classically trained in opera and piano, her journey eventually led her to rediscover music as a vehicle for true healing, using vocalization, sacred sound, and vibration as medicine.

She now writes songs from the depths of her being – weaving threads of mantra, devotional harmonies, and medicine music. In addition to sound, she expresses her artistry through traditional fiber arts like felting, spinning, knitting, and weaving, allowing songs to emerge in shared creative circles.

She is also a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Colon Hydrotherapist, and a Hatha Yoga teacher.

AEALUZ (@aealuz) is a soul folk vocal alchemist and song-catcher who serves a living ceremony of sound. Weaving delicate acoustic nuance with earthy medicine, her music seamlessly blends themes of R&B, Jazz, Folk, and chant into a celebration of the sacred.
She creates a uniquely reverent and playful container—inviting laughter, tears, movement, stillness, and the joining of voices in solidarity for the liberation of all.

It was cacao & sacred sound that literally brought us together in 2016, by the ancient waters of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

Since then, we’ve been weaving this medicine together in many places & in many ways, serving the frequency of remembrance, unconditional love, & reverence for the Earth. 🍃

So grateful for our music to be featured on Cacao Dance Vol. IV with @resuenomusic ✨

You can now hear @toddjames_music’s remix of our song Maha Lakshmiye on all platforms (link in bio!)

(Stream it on repeat, add it to your playlists, & share it if you feel called — may these vibrations of beauty, abundance, & wellbeing ripple far & wide 🌺)

We are thrilled to welcome soul folk vocal alchemist and song-catcher @aealuz to the Song of the Earth facilitator team! 🌿✨

AEALUZ sings for personal and collective transformation, serving a living ceremony through music. Her voice is a balm, a salve, and a sword—liberating illusion with sonic clarity while seamlessly blending elements of R&B, Jazz, Folk, and chant into a celebration of the sacred. Her transmission creates a field of deep remembrance, supporting us in exploring our true nature as love.

🌎 Song of the Earth is a 4-day retreat where we’ll explore the voice & song-creation as a pathway to healing, creativity, & connection with the living Earth. Together, we’ll gather for daily voice, movement, and embodiment practices, along with silent time communing with nature — opening as channels for the wisdom and energy of the elements, allowing that inspiration to move through us as song. 🎶

We’ll be nourished throughout with organic, home-cooked vegan meals set within a private 30-acre sanctuary in the Sierra Nevada foothills, featuring a three-acre swimming lake, hot tub, and elemental temples. ⛰️

Happy Equinox & Harvest Full Moon portal! 🌕

Dropping in to share a few sweet updates from this past season… 🍂

In early August, we ventured up to Singing Alive Cascadia in southern Washington to share our Heart Temple Activation with ceremonial cacao and the beautiful chorus of our Singing Alive family. ❤️‍🔥🎶

We had such a glorious time connecting & singing with everyone…and we realized it’s been exactly 10 years since our very first Singing Alive!

Next, we traveled over to @soha.center in Philomath, OR for a sweet co-creation with @kiranjotkaurmusic and @tatyalencar. (Check out our recent reels to catch a glimpse of the magic from that night! 🌌)

🎙️ Studio Updates: While at SOHA, we began recording our original song, “Mama Cacao,” which first came to us back in 2018. We’re so excited to watch it come together! Plus, another song, “El Infinito,” is close to being sent for mixing… stay tuned! 🎛️✨

If you’d like to support the music recording process, we are so open to receive! You can support our independent music journey for as little as $3/month on Patreon (link in bio).

Thank you for being part of this growing community. Whether we’re singing together around a campfire, gathering in person, or meeting here in the virtual realms, we’re deeply grateful to keep weaving this tapestry of voices together. 🤍

✨ Meet Sophya:

With over 15 years as a master teacher, international vocalist, and creator of albums like Medicine Woman and Canto a Tierra, Sophya brings incredible depth to our circle. Her background spans contemporary jazz, Latin American rhythms, and Indian Classical Raga, centering on music as a vessel for self-healing and connection.

🌎 An Invitation:

Life has been full, and I’m only now finding a little space to share some moments from around my birthday. ✨

A sweet visit w/ @amawa.academy & fam, sister time in Mount Shasta, a magical birthday morning with @iamqueenreborn followed by a musical gathering w/ new & old friends in Sebastopol…and more recently musical adventures w/ @artemis_awake & friends at @soha.center here in Oregon, where I’m tuning in from now. 🥰

Looking back at these moments, I’m feeling so much gratitude for the people, places, songs, & experiences that continue to shape this life.

Beginning this next revolution around the sun felt a bit like stepping across a threshold into a deeper commitment to devote myself more fully to my gifts, my music, and the life I’m here to create. ☀️

To stop waiting.
To create.
To share.
To give myself more fully to the path of creative living.

There is so much chaos, suffering, and injustice in the world right now. I don’t take the beauty of my own life for granted, and I feel even more committed to bringing my gifts forward.

One of the ways this is taking shape is an invitation to gather in devotion to song & nature this October in Grass Valley, CA. 🌿🎶

I’ll be sharing the full invitation soon…for now, leave a comment if this calls to you & I’ll send you the details!
