Off out to see cousin @matt.s.donnelly with @donbroco at the UEA - first gig I’ve been to in a while, and very different these days. I’m in the middle of a cut so I have a cool bag with weighed out meals in it - rock & roll! @magnuspr18 by @magnuspr18

😲HOLY COW!!!!!😲

Excuse the language but this is MEGA MEGA MEGA!!!!!!!!🌟🌟🌟

From the same people that run the HUGE UK Hair & Beauty Awards; they have launched UK Women in Business Awards.

I have recieved an email to say that I am a finalist - a bloody FINALIST in the Hospitality Business Woman of the year category - representing Lowestoft! - it's a national award!!!!!!!!

I am now through to compete in the top 10 in the finals in Birmingham on the 18th December!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟

A few months ago I applied for 3 different Awards, a local one, a global one and a national one (this one)....

I will always encourage Business owners to apply for Awards as our hard work needs to be seen.
The hours and hours of work that goes on behnd the scenes that you dont see on social media. The sleepless nights and the lack of self esteem (which happens a lot when you work on your own may I add!!)

We work so hard for customer experience, dedication and creativity, that we should be shouting it all from the rooftops!

I am absolutely BUZZING for this - especially with it being run by such a prestigious organisation. 🌟🌟

Wish me luck for the finals - I'd love to bring home an award for Lowestoft!!!

🏆 I ACTUALLY CAN’T BELIEVE THIS!! 🏆

A while ago I entered The Magnus Collection into the Global Recognition awards. I'd actually forgotten that i'd done so, but a last week I recieved an email to say that i'd been shortlisted. I didn't want to announce anything with that, as this is a Global Award so didn't think i'd stand a chance if i'm honest. But I have received an email this morning to say that I had won the 'START-UP OF THE YEAR' Award..... This is what they sent me:

"Ann-Marie Doggett has been recognized with a 2026 Global Recognition Award for creating The Magnus Collection, a fully curated and hosted luxury experience service that connects visitors with well-regarded venues and independent businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk, in the Startup Of The Year category. The business launched in June 2026 at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston-on-Sea, and it has already moved from concept to delivering tailored experiences for paying clients. A panel of industry experts screened the nomination against criteria that include innovation, leadership, service, and social responsibility, and Ann-marie's record stood out because it combines speed with substance.

Applicants for the Global Recognition Awards are graded from 1 to 5, and shortlisted entries are measured with the Rasch model, which creates a linear scale for each category and allows precise comparison between applicants who excel in different areas. Her combination of leadership, service, and innovation placed this work among those that merited recognition, and a spokesperson for Global Recognition Awards, Alex Sterling, said, "Ann-Marie Doggett has shown strong leadership and service in turning The Magnus Collection from an idea into a trusted, personalised offer within months, and a 2026 Global Recognition Award is a fitting acknowledgment of that achievement. Her work is a clear example of what a carefully built start-up can offer its clients and its region"

This is such fantastic news for my new business and I really hope that this will help to elevate the name of something I truly believe in!

SUPER chuffed this morning!!!!!! Thank you Global Recognition Awards !!! @theglobalrecognitionawards by @magnuspr18

Wasn't sure about doing this as I've not had a fringe for a good 3/4 years, and when I was cutting it earlier I had one of those panic moments when I thought ' s**t I've cut it way above my eyebrows' ... but actually it was fine and turned out ok... they're just a b*stard to maintain 🤣🤣

Off to see Chicane tonight with my best friend @zoejwz ... have a good Sat night all ❤️

I have thoroughly enjoyed running this PR campaign for my client.❤️

She approached me a few weeks back to help support her Health Agency.

I completely re-designed her flyer, booked and wrote a full-page magazine article, organised a branding photoshoot ,(which some photos were then used for the magazine) and created her a social media content plan.

The campaign is nearly finished now and we will be celebrating her article with a glass of bubbly when it comes out in print next month 🥂

Running your own business and being self-employed really isn’t for the faint-hearted.

You have to keep finding the energy to move forward, put yourself out there and find new clients. In my line of work, no two projects are the same, and nothing is ever guaranteed to be permanent.

Some days that freedom is exciting. Other days, it’s exhausting. You can finish a project you’ve poured yourself into and then have to start all over again, looking for the next opportunity.

It’s a good job I have a strong mind and plenty of determination! 😊

Yesterday I was personally invited to Chelsea Football Club to take a look at their event space, experiences and tours.

It was actually awesome to experience this as I've only ever been to Norwich and Manchester United - I'm not a fan of any particular club, so I can appreciate each one for what they are and what they do, I can be mutual in that respect.

I had a VIP experience of the most beautiful spaces, there's lots going on behind the scenes, lots of upgrades and improvements so it was enjoyable to be amongst all of that.

I am really enjoying these new relationships that I am building now that I am growing my business in a new direction, and now Chelsea has a little sprinkle of Magnus too!
