Gros:Œuvre Records / Baklawa Music — Distribution Believe - Thrilled to present the release of BAKIR’s debut EP « All’Alba » BAKIR weaves a hybrid sound where guembri, karkabous and bendir engage in dialogue with guitar, violin, saxophone, drum machines and synthesizers. The group draws from the legacy of Nass El Ghiwane and gnawa traditions, not to replicate them, but to reimagine them from the inside. Repetition, cycles, trance: BAKIR’s music belongs as much to the body as to the ear. But All’Alba goes beyond aesthetics. Across its 7 tracks, the group questions the gap between collective narratives and lived reality, the invisible fractures behind stories of social transformation, borders as zones of friction, the sea as a space of hope and uncertainty. Intimate and political trajectories intersect throughout, always embodied, never frozen. All’Alba is a record of the dawn, that suspended moment between darkness and clarity, where everything is still possible. - #BAKIR #AllAlba #GrosOeuvreRecords #BaklawaMusic #ElectroGhiwani taken in Marseille, France by @magrobinoo
