Meeting @magruffman , our very own "Aunt Olivia King," at the Road to Avonlea Convention in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, was the thrill of a lifetime! She is just as sweet in real life as she is on the show! What an absolute gem! Lady Mag, it was such an honor. Thank you for making this Virginia girl's year!!

You can find Mag on this beautiful series by @kevinsullivanofficial on GazeboTV.com. It was one of the best gifts my husband EVER gave me!

The past Saturday June 13th, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting RH Thomson - Anne With An E’s Matthew Cuthbert (@annewithane) and Road To Avonlea’s Jasper Dale (@kevinsullivanofficial) - reading from his deeply personal book ‘By The Ghost Light’ @penguinrandomca @penguinrandomhouse

During our 3 Quick Questions segment, Kristy was able to ask him about pursuing acting roles deeply rooted in Canadian stories about history and family; How his personal family letters from his great uncles who experienced World War I lead to both his book ‘By The Ghost Light’ and his one man play ‘The Lost Boys’; and how people’s after curtain reactions to his play inspired the project ‘The World Remembers’ - which seeks to list all persons who were lost in World War 1, regardless of what army they came from.

The Starbucks was overflowing with attendees for this special Leslieville Coffeetalk. No chair was left bare.

Leslieville Coffeetalks at Starbucks continues this Saturday June 20th at 2:30pm with an appearance by @pat_mastroianni - Degrassi High’s & The Next Generation’s, Joey Jeremiah!

All are welcome. All talks free.

This Sat June 13th – actor RH Thomson – Anne with an E’s Matthew Cuthbert & Road To Avonlea’s Jasper Dale is coming to Leslieville Coffeetalks at Starbucks (at 869 Queen St E) and you are invited.

Aside from his years immersed in the worlds of Lucy Maud Montgomery, RH Thomson is an accomplished author that since a young age, has been fascinated by war.

Growing up, He spent his days playing with toy soldiers on the carpet of his grandmother’s house, recreating the Battle of Britain with model planes in his bedroom. Yet Thomson’s childhood was also shaped by the spirits of real-life warriors in his family.
