🌿✨ A New Chapter of Regeneration ✨🌿

My journey with topical steroid withdrawal has taken me through some heavy chapters, but today I came back from an amazing wellness retreat with Britt, and I honestly feel something shifting in me. It was exactly what my mind, body, and spirit needed.

This marks the beginning of my own “new year” — a season of regeneration, softness, and choosing myself again. I’m sharing this because I refuse to give up on my healing, no matter how long the road feels.

To everyone who’s supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, checked in on me, or just held space during the hard days… thank you. Your love has meant more than I can explain.

Here’s to growth, to healing, and to stepping into the version of me that’s been waiting.

The healthcare system has failed me tremendously. On November 22nd 2024, I began my journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). It felt like my skin was on fire, and I’ve had to rely on over-the-counter medication to manage the unbearable itching. Sleep became my refuge, but it also meant missing out on consistent skincare. This journey has pushed me to change everything: my mindset, my health habits, and even removing toxic products from my home. I even had cataract surgery in December due to the steroids.

I’m sharing my story to raise awareness and let others know there’s a way out. Our bodies can do amazing things when given what they need. If you have questions or want to share your own experiences, feel free to reach out. Let’s support each other. I am documenting every grueling moment.. but like I said before I will win this battle and will help others through theirs💪🏽

Today’s prayer 🙏
Father, I am tired of trying harder and coming up short. I confess that I’ve been trying to change on my own, in my own strength and it hasn’t worked. Today, I am not coming to you with a plan I’m coming to you in surrender. I want to walk by your spirit, not by my striving. Teach me what it means to stay connected to you. Where I’ve been holding on to control, I’m asking you to help me let go. I trust what you produce in me will be far greater than anything I could manufacture on my own. Do what only you can do in me.
