Before I met you, I already knew I would be an exceptional mother… but loving you turned me into something even deeper.

I’ve rewritten this caption a thousand times and still can’t find words big enough for what my heart feels for you. In every lifetime, every universe, every realm that could ever exist. I would choose to be your mommy again and again. And I thank God every day that He chose me for you.

Which earrings do you think I chose? Silver or Gold?
Also, a lot of you asked where I got the dress from and despite my love for gatekeeping I can confidently say I do not remember. I know I got it from a boutique in Santee Alley when I use to live in LA but that is the extent of my knowledge.

I miss you everyday and I wish you were here to see how much I've grown. It's crazy how time flies you left me seven years ago but it doesn't feel like you've been gone that long. I know you're in Paradise cheffin it up making all types of food like you loved to do at home and at masjid after Jumah and I'm willing to bet money that you smell good too. I'm trying my best to make you proud and to never give up and I'm sorry that I had to stop running you know I would still be on the track if my leg would allow it. You were the strongest, kindest and most respectable man I knew and I pray my future Husband can be at least half the man you were. #HappyFathersDay I'll always be daddy's little girl.
