It’s crazy how much goes on in our minds before pressing “post.” 🫪

A few months ago, I was doing vocal warmups every single day… and somehow my voice just kept getting rustier and rustier. To the point where I couldn’t hold certain notes anymore.

Then I completely lost my voice for more than 4 days.
It scared me more than I can explain.

I kept thinking:
What now?
Am I still fit to be a singer?
What about the projects I’m excited for?
What about the future I imagined for myself?

And the truth is… our minds will always find an excuse.
Tomorrow it’s your hair.
The next day it’s the pimple on your face.
Then it’s the timing.
Then it’s fear.
Then it’s “maybe I’m not good enough yet.”

ENOUGH.

I’m done letting that voice stop me from going after my dreams.

So I’m posting this.
Even if my voice isn’t perfect.
Even if the video isn’t aesthetic enough.
Even if I still have doubts.
Because maybe confidence doesn’t come first.
Maybe we build it by showing up anyway.

For the next 90 days, I want to work harder.
Feel better.
Think better.
Become better.

So this is me starting before I feel fully ready.
90 days from now, I don’t want to recognize the version of me that almost gave up.

If you’re choosing yourself again too…comment “starting” lets keep each other accountable 🌹

With love,

Okay, a little update 🤍

I’m giving my music two spaces: one for my live performances (here) and one for the original songs I’m creating.

If you’d like to follow my originals from the beginning, come find me at @mahelymusic ✨ by @mahelylive

Acting like the woman I’m becoming has changed everything 🪄

I’m not waiting for permission or the perfect moment. I’m building the habits, the discipline, and the mindset before the success arrives.

This is my real journey of becoming a recording artist.

If you’re building a dream too, follow @mahely.music and let’s grow together ❤️‍🔥
