entering a new decade with the best ever (if you’re sick of the birthday posts, sorry last one I swear 😉) but this day was the fucking best; sunset with my loved ones, unlimited drink package and redbulls that made us last til sunrise, playing ninja with the fam — resulting in @joseph_noni getting bitch slapped by @khiliel 😂 but it was full of so much love, laughter & dancing 🩷

so grateful for my family who came all the damn way from aus for it, couldn’t have asked for a better trip 🥰

and no, the posts from the actual holiday aren’t done but honestly, anyone else getting overwhelmed from their camera roll? oh well, that’s just another blessing and thing to be grateful for really ❤️

holiday time is over for a little while and while I’m sad about that, I’m also super excited to get back into work and building this dream of mine — more on that soon, but for now, enjoy these photos, we sure enjoyed taking them ❤️

Can’t lie, as much as I love Joseph, I really thought we’d be sick of each other by now. After nearly three weeks in Albania together, surely we would be bound for some bickering, some ‘noo it’s your turn to do the dishes’ or ‘clean your damn curly hair off the bathroom sink’ haha I mean that one was wildly specific for no reason … 👀 but instead of what I thought would happen, our relationship has just deepened further and further. Now I’m not going to pretend three weeks was all beach huts and butterflies — we’re two deeply emotional people and sometimes that means big feelings and real conversations. But that’s exactly the point. What makes us work isn’t the absence of hard moments, it’s that we always talk through them. Every single time.

I never realised how badly I need a good communicator, I mean you’re probably thinking ‘duh, mahlee’ but I mean it for me specifically, I need a realllllly good communicator. As a girl who is highly sensitive to energy and is constantly feeling and reading people’s energy, being with someone who not only understands that but also does the same thing AND likes to talk about it, is just the best.

Three weeks, basically inseparable the whole time bar a shower or two, has just shown me that I could spend my life with you @joseph_noni — our chats are creative and immersive that we often joke that we’ve moved into each others minds. Joseph loves to joke about it saying ‘moved into each others minds & decorated the place quite nicely’ and that we have.

Feeling very grateful, and certain that if you do the work on yourself first — this kind of love will land in your lap like it was always meant to be there.

needing to apply for the ancestry visa outside of the uk is a sick rule and what better way to spend it than inviting my girls as well ♡

still a whole week to go, let’s pray it gets approved — cause life in london just doesn’t feel done yet, especially since I did that predicatable aussie thing and fell in love 🙊

and there’s just something about exploring where josephs family is from, while doing this whole ancestry application, that just feels so right ♡
