Happy 1 year to one of thee best decisions I ever made. SELF HATE WORKS Y’ALL.

I was always an active guy during college but life throws a million curveballs at you and you get into a downward spiral and think eating and alcohol would solve your problems and still keep you looking SNATCHED but believe me when I say this, IT DOES NOT.

I remember seeing this one picture of me last year during a friends trip and that was the turning point that led to this happening. I hated the way I looked and feel. I felt disgusting, unattractive, slow, heavy, etc. The beginning was not easy AT ALL but I pushed myself because I knew once I got over the first 2-3 months, it would just become a routine for me. I am not where I want to be right now, physically, but I am enjoying and loving the journey I am going through right now.

Good job self, you ATE.

(P.S. I still drink like a fish and eat like a pig because that will always be a part of me, you don’t have to torture yourself. You do what works for you and enjoy the process. I am no trainer or athelete so I can’t give you all the answers but it does get better. I promise you. If I can do it and still enjoy my life, so can you.

Turned 29 and I’m still crying whenever my friends and I get together. Thank y’all for making my birthday weekend special, especially to my friends who took days off and flew in. I love y’all to death. I can still taste the alcohol under my breath but hey, at least I’m alive. by @mahnohng
