A few months ago, a modeling agency reached out to me.

And I mean… they REALLY reached out. They kept messaging me, asking me to come into their office, so I finally went.

I walked in thinking, “Okay, let’s see what this is about.”

And then they basically told me I couldn’t model professionally because I wasn’t 5’9 and I wasn’t 115 pounds.

But then they said, “You do have a look for print.”

And that’s when she said, “I’m going to take a chance on you.”

And I remember sitting there thinking… is this a prank? Because why did you reach out to ME just to tell me all the reasons I don’t fit your idea of what a model is?

A few days later, they told me they decided to go with someone else.

And honestly? It didn’t hurt me.

Because five years ago? That would’ve crushed me. I would’ve gone home questioning my beauty, my body, and whether I was enough.

But today, I know who I am.

And here’s a reminder. NOBODY gets to decide your worth. Nobody gets to tell you that you’re not beautiful because you don’t fit into their little box.

Beauty isn’t a height. It isn’t a number on a scale. It isn’t someone else’s approval.

It’s confidence. It’s the way you carry yourself. It’s knowing your power.

So if you’re watching this and someone has made you feel like you’re not enough — remember this:

They don’t know your story. They don’t know what you’ve survived. They don’t know what you bring to the table.

You know your worth.
