Meal prep paying off! 🥗💪🏾

Today’s lunch: quinoa, seasoned ground turkey, black beans, fresh cucumber & tomato salad, topped with my homemade creamy yogurt sauce. 😋
Approximately 500–575 calories with 38–45g of protein—filling, colorful, and made right at home.

Healthy eating doesn't have to mean bland food or tiny portions. Give me flavor, protein, fresh ingredients and a meal that actually keeps me satisfied! 🙌🏾

Preparation really does make the workweek easier. ❤️

GRACE 💎

We slip. We fall short. We don't always get it right. But God doesn't look at us and say, “That's it for you.”

Through Christ, He gives us grace we didn't earn—not permission to remain the same, but grace that allows us to repent, get back up, learn, and keep growing.

🌅 MORNING NUGGET 💎

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
Sometimes we wake up carrying the whole day in our head—what needs to get done, what might go wrong, what we need to figure out, and what comes next.
But God never asked us to carry tomorrow while trying to live today.
Commit it to Him.
Give Him the plans.
Give Him the responsibilities.
Give Him the decisions.
Give Him the things you cannot control.
Then move forward and do what is yours to do, trusting God with what belongs to Him.
You don't have to know how everything will work out before you begin. Put it in God's hands, take the next faithful step, and allow Him to direct the rest.

🙏🏾 Morning Prayer:
Lord, I commit this day and everything concerning me into Your hands. Order my steps, guide my decisions, quiet every anxious thought, and help me walk in wisdom and peace. Let my plans align with Your will and my actions bring You glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee… I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.” — Isaiah 41:10

Today, remember this: You are not walking into anything alone.

Whatever is waiting for you today, God is already there.

When you feel weak, He promises strength.

When you feel uncertain, He promises help.

When you feel overwhelmed, He promises His presence.

So don’t allow fear to write today’s story.

Walk into this day knowing that the God who called you is the God who will carry you. You don’t need to have everything figured out—you just need to trust the One who does. 🙏🏾

Go forward with confidence. God is with you, God will strengthen you, and God will help you. ❤️

Before you focus on what’s missing, what’s difficult, or what still hasn’t happened, pause and remember what has remained constant—God’s love.

You may be waiting on an answer, a breakthrough, or a change, but while you wait, God is still good. God is still present. And His love is still enduring. 🙏🏽✨

🍎📚✨ Classroom Setup — The Final Reveal!

From moving furniture and unpacking boxes to organizing shelves, setting up bins, decorating, and putting all the little details into place…we made it! 🙌🏽😂

My classroom is officially ready for my students! ❤️ There are still a few things I’ll be tweaking here and there (because is a classroom ever really finished? 😂), but I’m so happy to see the vision finally come together.

Every corner was created with intention, and now it’s time to fill this space with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of memories. 🍎✏️📚

The setup journey is complete…well, almost! 😉✨

🥗💪🏽 Meal Prep + Progress!

Another week, another opportunity to be intentional about what I’m putting into my body. And the consistency is starting to show — 5 lbs down and a more toned body is emerging! 🙌🏽✨ I’m not rushing the process. I’m just staying consistent, moving my body, and making better choices one meal at a time.

Today’s meal prep:
🍑 Peaches: I had two bags that needed to be used before they spoiled, so I prepped them with a little brown sugar, nutmeg, and pumpkin spice. I’ll be adding them to chia seed pudding, Greek yogurt, and whatever else I come up with this week. 😋
🍳 Breakfast: Eggs loaded with mushrooms, scallions, onions, and sweet peppers.
🥗 Lunch: Chicken salad with my homemade dressing — simple, fresh, and protein-packed.
I’m learning that this journey doesn’t have to mean boring food or depriving myself. It’s about planning ahead, being mindful, and finding a way of eating that I can actually enjoy and maintain.
