SO many people were interested in the sneak peeks I posted on my stories yesterday so I had to make a video to post for y’all!! TOOL PRINTED OVERALLS, Y’ALL!! AND theyre @carhartt so ya know they’re sturdy and comfyyyy 😤

These babies are for all my makers and creators out there 😎 This was my first time trying the solar fast dyes from @jacquardproducts and I am in LOVE with the result!!!

For these colors I used the teal and yellow mixed, and then Scarlett and yellow mixed! I didn’t measure…just with my heart ❤️ lol. And then thinned with water! Dollar tree spray bottles be damned, btw…I went through a few atomizers per shade 🥴

For my subjects, I used a combination of tools from my late grandmother and my father, as well as some of my own mixed in! I’m going to keep adding colorful panels to these bad boys and will just keep digging through tools and trinkets! This is so much fun and I just love making things one of a kind!

Happy to answer any questions about this dye process that I can! And let me know if you think I should leave some panels white or just sun print the whole thing in pieces!?! I’m still deciding :)

Can you tell I’m obsessed with vintage sleepwear and the color pink?!? You can partially blame @jacquardproducts for creating a synthetic magenta that is just SO fabulous…but I can also take ownership of my obsession, and hey….it could actually be so much worse 😎

I’m having a lot of fun sprucing up these dainty little garments and making them obnoxious as hell, just like me 😤💋🥰😘❤️💅🏼🌈

Well guys, I guess I’m starting a SERIES?!

…gotta commit to the bit here, but I’ve got plenty of stuff to share in the next few months/years??!

I’ve posted plenty of Instagram stories about my endeavors so far, but I think they deserve a place on the grid, too! Welcome to this new chapter of my life, where I sort, sift, and figure out what the HELL I’m going to do with 2 storage units full of my late dad’s possessions. A lifetime of stuff and then some! (Seriously- I’ve found his childhood school books- he was 67)

It’s HERE! My little handmade adornments inspired by none other than the legendary @gratefuldead, my dads life-long love of the band, and his years of working shows of theirs behind the scenes⚡️💀🎸

I have 17 new items in this drop, all but one are necklaces, and one is a pair of 8 ball earrings!

Most of the necklaces can be converted into bracelets! So if you are wanting to do that, just make a note with the finished length you’d like it to be shortened to! Similarly, I can adjust the length of these necklaces to whatever you’d like (within reason lol) so just pop a note in there and I’ll adjust before it goes out to you!!

I’m so excited to share these pieces, I enjoyed making them so much, am so proud of them, and am truly so GRATEFUL every day, so it feels very special and ceremonial to stamp these words so much!

There’s a few variations of the same thing, and a few song title necklaces turned out better than I even imagined!!

Miss Ada Virginia….one of my biggest inspirations in life, would be 101 today. She made it last year to 100, and then left swiftly after hitting the accomplishment..I think she was trying to prove a point! She was very stubborn that way…

My Grandma was a depression kid. She saved everything, made everything else, was resourceful, thrifty, creative, artistic, intelligent, independent, funny, colorful, and just a liiiiiittle crotchety at the end….jk she was ready and, frankly, pissed that she was still kicking lol.

But god I miss her. I miss the joy of sharing good news, listening to her stories at the old folks home, making her laugh, and making her proud. This woman loved me something fierce, and I am eternally grateful to have been loved so much by someone. The luck is not lost on me at all 💜

Ada lived to 100, and she was happily accepting of my weird queer self with open arms. She changed her party and voted blue in her last few decades, and supported my partners with pronouns that she maybe didn’t understand, but still respected. She didn’t love that I colored my hair and had a lot of new tattoos each time I came to visit, but it didn’t actually make her love me any less.

She was always so proud to tote me around and announce “THIS IS MY GRANDDAUGHTER!” to anyone who’d listen. I’m eternally grateful for that, too.

Ada lived a long life, obviously, but holy shit she did a LOT. More than I could cover in a post caption, but she worked, taught, practiced like a gazillion art forms and crafts (hello genetics!), and eventually traveled to so many places to see the world.

I’m so proud to be cut from her cloth.

Early voting here in Savannah is widespread in terms of options, and, correct me if I’m wrong, you can vote early at ANY OF THEM! My fav is the public library near my house 🥲💋🙌🏼

Georgia is breaking voting records this primary election, and I want to see them climb as high as the state census. Show these people in power that while we are exhausted, that doesn’t mean we are giving up.

Times are abysmal but there is still beauty and joy in the smallest of things to pull us through.

I keep saying “this is one of my favorites” and I swear I MEAN IT! my dads vast collection from his years of work is chock full of some of the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in my life. This…IS my life now….which is also crazy.

Pulling this out of a box had me picking my jaw back up off the floor, it’s just a really cool shirt that seems a little unassuming until I turn around!

Hey @pinkfloyd! Idk what show this even was or what year, as my list of searchables is endless at this point, but HEY! My dad probably ran lights or patched or something for y’all around 30 years ago :)
