Video 1/2 Tibet. Swimsuit. 5000 meters One of the 10 most incredible landscapes I’ve ever seen. The destination I built my entire trip to China around, rewarded with impossibly clear skies: the three sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism — Yangmaiyong (6,033 m), Xiannairi (5,999 m) and Xianuoduoji (5,952 m). And, in the distance, the mighty Gongga Massif at 7,509 metres. #tibet #china #buddism #mountains by @maicooper7r
Wild, raw and incredibly steep - le Alpi Apuane: 1450 metres of elevation gain in less than 1.5 km (40-45° slopes), and this isn’t even the hardest trail. #alpiapuane by @maicooper7r
Last April, @maicooper7r and I spent a few days in Transnistria (Pridnestrovye), between Tiraspol (Тирасполь) and Bender (Бендеры). The strangest feeling was stepping into a time we had never actually lived through. We never experienced the Soviet Union, yet in Transnistria there are moments when you feel almost immersed in that atmosphere and that period, through the architecture, the monuments, the canteens, the streets, and countless details that are still surprisingly present. Yet it doesn’t feel like a place frozen in the past. Many spaces are well kept, restored and very much alive. And perhaps that contrast is what makes it so fascinating: the past doesn’t feel like something displayed in a museum, it simply continues to coexist with everyday life. We saw the huge Lenin statue in front of the government building, the Dom Sovetov with its Lenin bust, Suvorov Square and the monument to the founder of Tiraspol, the central park, some of the city’s churches, the countryside around Tiraspol, and the Bender Fortress. And, of course, a few beautiful Soviet-style canteens, where the food was just as good as the wonderfully retro atmosphere. We stayed for two nights: one in an apartment hosted by an elderly couple, and the other at Hotel Russia. Two completely different experiences, but both became part of the journey. We arrived curious to discover an unusual place. We left with the feeling that, for a few days, we had somehow stepped into another time, one we had never lived through, yet could still feel all around us. 📍 Tiraspol — Bender, Transnistria (Pridnestrovye) April 2026 by @maicooper7r

After a long break, I’m finally back to posting, and I’m doing it right at the end of my latest trip with my partner and two fellow traveler friends, our New Year journey through Central Europe and the Baltic countries. With the cold, and uncomfortable gloves, the motivation to keep the camera in my hands was low at first, but Tallinn truly surprised me with its authentic medieval beauty. After just a couple of shots, I decided to spend an entire day capturing this incredible old town. I hope something decent came out of it… by @maicooper7r
