A DAILY GESTURE THAT BECOMES AN ADVENTURE.

When the eye is captured by simplicity and not by what is around.
This collaboration with @oury.home was born somewhat by chance and from the attraction of the same language that brought together our two brands, thus creating a “scenario” where not only the material is the protagonist but also the natural light that accompanies everything.

“In a space where light glides softly across surfaces, linen takes center stage. The set design is born as a dialogue between material and everyday life: Each element is designed to draw the eye without ever overpowering it. The natural tones sand, ivory, create an intimate, almost suspended landscape, where time seems to slow down”.

Here, the design doesn’t impose, but accompanies.

Thank you for this amazing job:

My last work for @sarahespeute
SET UP YOUR EMOTIONS .
“The more an individual interacts with an object, the more significant it becomes and the more special it is likely to become”.

Since I was little, I loved table time. My family worked often, there were few moments we could spend together, this was one of them. A way to come together and be together. Little by little the table took shape, everyone put something on it based on their habits, and behold it filled up. I loved watching these routine in other people’s homes too. taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @maiden_interior

A long moment of transition and change without a precise time, but with the right amount of time needed to ensure that a balance is found.

The house is certainly a refuge, a place of stability, between things that do not ignore us and familiar faces. But this is not always the case. I believe that it is often just a desperate shelter for those who, having no internal fixed points, cling to the walls of the house and the people who live there, so as not to get lost. With the sensitivity and tact that distinguishes him.

Personally, I think that today’s world doesn’t have many attractions and to live healthily you have to “choose” a lot, carve out increasingly smaller spaces, avoid as much as possible that shapeless mass made up of insignificant things and people who, with their weight, invade those who insist on respecting their own individuality, their own sensitivity.
This is why the defense of private space is fundamental for me, Of course, private space is fundamentally an interior dimension that is not limited to carving out an external space, but, if this dimension exists, it reproduces and reflects itself in it. This is how the house becomes a precious refuge, guardian of intimacy and also witness to the very life of those who live there.

Some homes don’t need to be filled with things to tell a story.

They already have a voice.

This bedroom held many stories: books left half-read, memories placed wherever there was room, clothes that spoke of days well lived, and cherished objects that had gradually disappeared beneath other belongings.

It wasn’t simply clutter.

It was life.

A life that, little by little, had taken over every available space.

Our job wasn’t to erase that story.

It was to listen to it.

To understand what truly mattered and give it the place it deserved.

Through a thoughtful decluttering process, we carefully selected what still held meaning, letting go of the excess and bringing balance back into the room. Everything that remains is there by conscious choice, not by habit or neglect.

The result is not a picture-perfect room.

It’s a room that can breathe.

The personality of the person who lives here is still present in every detail: the colours, the books, the memories, and the objects that tell stories of passions, journeys, relationships, and experiences.

The difference is that now each piece has its own place.

And because of that, it can be seen, appreciated, and enjoyed.

Because decluttering doesn’t mean having less.

It means removing the noise so that what truly matters can shine through.

✨ More order.
✨ More lightness.
✨ More harmony.
✨ More room to be yourself.

A home doesn’t lose its soul when it’s decluttered.
It finds it again.
BEFORE AND AFTER.

If you also need this you can book this service in my website or send me private text RE-BALANCED BOND.

Who I Am ( for new arrivals) ✨

There are places that feel like us.

Places that hold our silences, our transformations, our losses, and our rebirths.

And then there are homes that, over time, stop reflecting who we are. We begin to feel like guests in our own spaces, as if something is no longer aligned with the person we have become.

This is where Maiden was born.

My name is Denise, and I believe that design is about much more than furnishing a space.

It is about people.

Their emotions.

Their stories.

The memories they choose to keep and the ones they are learning to let go of.

That is why my work always begins with listening.

Before designing a space, I seek to understand how that place should make the people who live there feel.

Because a home can become a sanctuary.

It can restore calm when the world feels too loud.

It can remind us who we are when we are going through change.

It can hold our story while creating room for the person we are becoming.

Maiden was born at the intersection of psychology and design.

From the belief that our environments have the power to shape our well-being, influence our emotions, and affect the way we experience everyday life.

I do not simply design interiors.

I help people feel at home within their spaces.

And sometimes, within themselves as well.

If your spaces no longer reflect who you are, perhaps you don’t need a new home—just a new way of living in it. Get in touch, and let’s discover together what it could become.🤎 taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @maiden_interior

THE ART OF EMOTIONAL CLUTTER from the new Re-balanced bond service in story 08 you will find something different from the usual, let’s enter Novella’s house.

Re Balanced Bond is a bespoke service by Maiden Interior dedicated to enhancing and refining existing interiors. Rather than starting over, we work with what is already there—bringing renewed harmony, balance, and purpose to every space through careful curation and attention to detail.

It is not about adding more, but about recognizing the value of what is already there.

“The interior conveys a lived-in, cultured, almost European aesthetic: books everywhere, soft yet harsh flashlight, worn wood, classical paintings, plants left to grow freely. It’s a space full of emotional layers. Nothing is minimalist, nothing is sterile. Everything speaks of a person who accumulates stories to avoid feeling empty”.

ICHIGO ICHIE The Zen secret to happiness.
Today I want to talk to you about this term that caught my attention and is worth keeping in mind.

A once-in-a-lifetime encounter. A Japanese concept that invites us to live every moment as if it were unrepeatable. (See the “metaphor” of this photoshoot taken by the very talented photographer @xandradekok 🤎).

Nothing will ever be the same again. A philosophy that reminds us to be present, to live in the here and now without taking anything for granted.

Every encounter is considered unrepeatable, to be experienced with authenticity; that precise moment was unique, because it would never return.

A sort of “carpe diem,” an invitation to slow down and appreciate what’s before us. The little things, looking into each other’s eyes, rewriting letters. Thus cultivating true connections.

Happiness lies not in great achievements, but in the ability to make every single moment special.

Happy Sunday after long time, today I’m revisiting a method that’s always good to reread.

Finally a new wardrobe in the house…

ABC METHOD
“How to get control of your time and your life”.

Today I’m talking about this method formalized in 1973 by Alan Lakein.

It is a method that addresses the MANAGEMENT OF DAILY PRIORITIES.
The ABC method: It consists in assigning each of the activities in our to-do-list a value that goes from A to C passing through B, according to this criterion:

 A) represents everything you should do today;
 B) represents what you should do within a week;
 C) represents what you should do within a month.
 Or:

 A) corresponds to all the fundamental activities, those that need to be completed now, those both urgent and important
 B) corresponds to the other important activities but which are less urgent at the moment and can therefore wait;
 C) matches non-core activities with respect to your priorities today.

Is there a more correct reading than the other? No. Only the one that works for you. taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @maiden_interior
