Last Saturday, I headed up to CTY MTN FOR CDI. If you can decode that you know. Been going 22 years strong by the power of @coreymcdonald @frozentauntaun @wooprest and @maidenboise. For the first time, the weather kicked us out with a torrential downpour the day of. With safety a concern, the crew packed it in, but man the build was beautiful.

If you wanna get in on the raffle prizes, Venmo some bucks to @maidenboise to get entered with a portion going to cover costs of the event and permits, another portion going towards mental health awareness non-profits. Be a winner. by @maidenboise

This year marks the 20th memorial for our dear friend Carson David Ianson. Come join us Friday June 3rd to celebrate him and be with friends and family in the beautiful mountains of Idaho. Public skateparks were not a thing in Boise for all of my youth but the “handicapped” park that was in Julia Davis park by the Zoo was as close as we got to having one. It only lasted a few years and not many skated it as hard as @c.greeniii Cliff had a style that inspired countless other skaters in Boise. Couple pictures of @brandochristo up at @bogusbasin circa 93/94 winter. The Sports Exchange ( @newtandharolds ) put together a small snowboard series previous to the Idaho winter games providing Boise shreds actual features built for those contests. Everyone that rode a snowboard would sign up just to be a part of the community and to ride “park” type features. Doug Harper sent me this picture yesterday of his 3rd place and highest air trophy from CDI #2 back in 2004 trophy was hand casted and built by @adamjtaye Doug was always a shredder and friend I looked up to because of his unmatched talent and humility the guy just flat out rips. Over the years we have had so many artists donate Trophy’s from these “Lil homies” and hand cast medals from Adam to amazing art glass from @cannedheat1 . Some years we didn’t get trophies together in time but we tried. If you ever got one DM is a pic.
