One of the most beautiful parts of our story was how intentional my husband was.

We had only been talking for about 6 weeks when he made his intentions known. He was clear about what he wanted, and more importantly, his actions consistently matched his words.

He didn’t just say he wanted marriage—he moved with intention towards it. And that intentionality has continued every single day.

We legally got married in under 9 months. 🤎

To my ladies: please don’t settle for the bare minimum simply because you’ve gotten used to uncertainty.

I’m not saying everyone needs to get married within a few months. Every relationship has its own pace and circumstances.

But please, let your relationship have clarity. Let your timelines be defined. Let there be intentionality.

You deserve to know where a relationship is going, not spend years trying to figure out whether the person you’re with actually sees a future with you.

And sometimes, it’s not just about finding the right person.

It’s also about making better choices when you find someone whose intentions align with yours. 🤎

The @airtelnigeria 4G smart box is honestly one of my favourite devices in our house. 😂❤️

Aside from turning our regular TV into a Smart TV, I love that it has a long-lasting battery life. Even when there’s no power, we can still use it for a good few hours.

And our road trips? This device has really come through for us!

We were in transit for most of July, and having the Smart Box with us meant I could stay connected and, most importantly, stay consistent.

I love that you can simply carry it around with you and still have access to a great network experience wherever you go.

Over the last year, I’ve lived between two northern cities, traveled to five, and taken what is probably my 10th road trip.

Every journey has reminded me of one thing: God has been faithful.

If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me, “How’s married life?” I’d probably be a millionaire. 🤭

The truth is, I still don’t know how to answer that question because my heart hasn’t quite found the words to describe it.

One of the best pieces of advice I received before getting married was this: Let God set your expectations instead of building them around what you think marriage should be.

Looking back, that was one of the greatest gifts anyone could have given me.

God truly gave me one of His choicest sons, and this journey has been beautiful, full of grace, laughter, growth, and so much kindness.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22

That verse feels so real to me now.

My prayer for everyone reading this is simple: May you marry well, and may it happen in God’s perfect timing. ❤️🙏🏾

Was a movie, written and produced by our Heavenly Father.
We made a decision to honour God through our relationship and our lives and this is evidence that God is jealous over his children.

Not because we made the perfect plans but his grace, and favour carried us.

Having both trad and white wedding and a reception in the same day in the same location and carried out so smoothly is nothing but a result of their excellent work

This weddding was planned in less than 5 months and we had the best day of our lives.
We had fun, and our guests had even more fun

Every day, I find new reasons to thank God for my husband. 🤍

Yesterday marked 5 months of being legally married, and one thing I know for sure is this: it truly matters who you marry.

Since our wedding in Lagos, we’ve been in a season of transition—attending a leadership camp, setting up our home, and navigating the beautiful realities of building a life together.

Through it all, I’ve watched my husband lead with wisdom, steward our resources with intention, and love me so well. Marriage has reminded me that a godly partner is one of God’s greatest gifts.

God has been so gracious and merciful to us, and our hearts are filled with gratitude.

Lord, thank You for writing a story more beautiful than I could have imagined. Thank You for Your faithfulness in every season. May our home continue to glorify You, and may we never lose sight of the purpose for which You brought us together.

Here’s to many more months and years of becoming all God has called us to be, together. 🤍✨
