Magggggiie ❤️‍🩹

It’s almost been a year since we lost her, and today would’ve been her 15th birthday. I’m incredibly grateful that she made it to 14 years. She was the BEST dog we could’ve ever asked for. Our little shadow, companion, and such a huge part of our family.

It makes me sad knowing she won’t get to meet our baby, but I’m so grateful for everything she taught us about patience, responsibility, and love. In so many ways, she taught us how to be parents before we ever became parents. And now she can look after our babies. 🪽

Happy 15th birthday in heaven, Maggie. We love you and miss you more than you know. 🐾❤️‍🩹 by @maikyortega

One of my favorite things about selling my art is creating something deeply meaningful for someone I truly love and respect.

For this piece, I asked Cassandra about the women in her life and the flowers they love. I also included some of the flowers from her daughter’s wedding bouquet and some flowers that surround her beautiful home.

Together, they came together to form an arrangement that carries their presence and brings a vibrant, colorful energy into her space.
