I started this blog in June 2012. At the time, I was deep in the "mommy blog" era, with kids at home and plenty of stories to tell. It was a lot of fun. The traffic was strong, conversations happened regularly in the comments, and many of you became familiar names I looked forward to hearing from (still do!).Some of you are still here all these years later (thank you!). Others became real-life friends beyond the screen, which became an unexpected joy.As often happens though, life changed. The kids grew up. Sharing personal details online began to feel different, and eventually the blog slowed down. Even so, it had been part of my life for so long that I couldn't quite imagine letting it go completely.Yesterday, I received the renewal notice for my domain name and decided not to renew it. Before the blog's website shuts down, I wanted to say thank you very much to everyone who traveled with me on this journey, you have always been amazing, and I have always appreciated you. by @mail4rosey

I’m always on a vanilla kick and these 2 lotions are top-tier.EOS is very popular online and after buying it, I can see why. It’s thick, rich and decadent smelling (truly) and it moisturizes well.I always see the different Hempz lotions on Insta (so many look appealing) but hadn’t tried one until now. Just got sent this countertop water purifier to test and I’m honestly impressed.Setup does take a little patience at first. You need to run the tank through 4-5 cycles before the water is ready to drink, which takes about 30-45 minutes total.But once it’s ready, the results speak for themselves.The built-in display shows the impurity levels before and after filtering. Happy to start my New Year off with some samples from Surrender to Chance.1. Black Tie from @celine Everyone I’ve ever heard talk about this swears by it, so I was happy to try it. It’s a luxe, rich, darker-type of vanilla. I can see why it gets so hyped.2. La Bomba from @carolinaherrera the Pitahaya fruit is unusual (almost tart, definitely tropical) and front-and-center with strong floral undertones. It’s pleasant enough and if you haven’t seen the butterfly bottle, look that up. Very pretty!3). L’eau Papier from @diptyque is a modern minimalistic crisp white musk. Very clean, relaxing scent. 4. Ginger Biscuit from @jomalonelondon is a seasonal scent that truly does smell like baked Gingerbread Cookies. This is the second year I’ve noticed it during the holiday season so I am happy to have a sample now. I see they’ve changed the cap on the perfume bottle. I wonder if they’ll change it again for Christmas 2026? Interesting and delicious enough to go on my “want” list, though I have heard it is primarily only available in the months close to the holiday season. 5. Bubblegum Factory from @theodoroskalotinisperfumer is the perfect bubblegum scent I’ve been hoping to find for years. Instantly put this on my “to buy” list.6. Nota Sugar from @ulykaparfums is also now on my “to buy” list. Instant ♥️ for me. Unapologetically gourmand in all the right ways. 🍍🥥7. Kurky from @maisonfranciskurkdjian is the second fragrance ever that I can say I must experience fragrance anosmia with… it’s a shame to say that too because no one loves a sweet perfume more than me. I did get myself one Christmas gift this year. La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude has the OG roots but it’s lighter (no patchouli) and very much day-friendly.
