Get to know Maisie! 🐾

Maisie is a bordoodle (border collie x poodle) puppy who is still finishing up her puppy vaccines, and we are very impatiently waiting to get out on PNW adventures! 🏔️

Right now, our days consist of:
- Teething baby shark bites 🦈,
- Backyard (and inside) zoomies 🌪️,
- FOMO, puppy-shadow energy 👀, and
- Enforced naps (this girl does not shut off easily) 💤

I started this page to document our lives with Maisie as she grows up, but more importantly, to build a close-knit community of local dog parents to share advice, support, and all our PNW favorites! 🌲

Our goal is to hit over 1,000 friends by the end of the year, so if you love puppy chaos and the beautiful PNW as much as we do, hit follow and let's support each other! 💖

Drop a comment to share where you're from with a pic of your pup! 🐶

Counting down the days until puppy shots are done so we can get out and enjoy the great PNW! 🌲

Still cute though..

I've been loving these videos and had to give this trend a go. When you have 1,357,909,765,432,345 pictures of your dog on your phone, you definitely end up with some good bloopers. I hope these bring some joy to your feed! 🤪

Raising this little Portland doodle puppy means my camera roll is literally 99% Maisie! 💖

Dog parents, how many photos of your dog would you guess are on your camera roll?? 🤣

4 months old - still fluffy and oh so pretty ✨

Maisie's puppy coat is maybe the softest thing I've ever felt, but it's likely to stay wavy instead of being curly as she grows up even though she's a doodle. 💖

Can't wait to see how she looks going through her adolescent transition phase. I know the doodles can get some crazy hair as they transition to the adult coat and honestly... I'm here for it. 😂

Doodle parents, when did your doodles hair start to get crazy (and when did they settle into their adult coat)?

Nothing beats autumn golden hour on this sweet puppy face. ✨

Maisie is so close to finishing up her puppy shots, so we are still limited on full adventure mode, but we are getting in lots of backyard training and safe, short neighborhood exploring. Officially prepping for a lifetime of PNW adventures and dog-friendly getaways. 🥰

Hopefully this means she loves water! 🌧️

Attempting to raise our smarty-pants, high-energy velcro pup to love water to help us get through Portland winters. It's great to know she loves the hose and doesn't mind getting wet as we get closer to the PNW rainy season! 🌲

Calling on local dog moms to trade PNW tips, faves, and hidden gems as we get closer to fully-vaxxed status. Hit follow to watch Maisie grow up and join our pack! ✨

Active pup parents, what are your best tips for making it through a rainy day? 👇🏼

🐕 ➡️ 🐑

Maisie's second ever grooming (forgot to get a photo the first time around) - I didn't realize I paid for the extra fluffy service. Is it just me or did she come back several shades lighter? And why does she always have something in her mouth??? 😂

We are enjoying her puppy coat for as long as we possibly can. It is so soft and floofy. 💖

Doodle parents, when did your pup lose their puppy coat?

She might be an autumn 🍁

But, honestly, since Maisie hasn't seen all the seasons yet, who's to say she won't be a winter, spring, or summer girl? I can't wait to see what her favorites are as she grows up. 🥹

Is autumn your dog's favorite season? 🍁❄️🌷☀️

Happy fall y'all! 🍂🧡

Maisie finally got the clear from the vet to get out and about, and, obviously, our first stop was the local nursery for fall flowers and pumpkins.🌻

She had an absolute blast and I think it's fair to say she loves pumpkin season. 🎃

What's on your fall bucket list this year? 🍁

Meal-time enrichment hack! 💡

Being a bordoodle (border collie x poodle) puppy, Maisie is super smart and needs novelty with her enrichment activities. 🩷

The first time she used a puzzle feeder, it took her a little while to figure it out... But by the second to third time she was getting it done in under 5 mins. 🤓

We tried a snuffle mat... It took her three times before she realized she could just shake all the food off to get to it faster. 😂

Enrichment toys are great (and we own a few!), but creating simple enrichment activities with stuff around the house for a dog that needs new things to keep them busy is definitely easier on the wallet. 💸

As a side note, Maisie does not have the tendency to eat the paper. Regardless, we always supervise enrichment activities, especially as a puppy! 👀

Drop a comment to share your dog's favorite enrichment activity that anyone can make or do at home! 👇🏼
