Thierry, merci pour 42 ans de dévouement aux vignes de Bourgogne — dont dix passés à nos côtés à la Maison Shaps, bien que ta relation avec ces vignes remonte aux années 80, bien avant qu’elles ne deviennent les nôtres. La qualité de nos vins commence dans la vigne, et ton engagement à travers chaque saison de taille, chaque printemps et chaque vendange en est le fondement. Ta retraite est plus que méritée. Nous te sommes profondément reconnaissants et te souhaitons le meilleur pour cette nouvelle étape. 🍷

Merci également à toute l’équipe de vendangeurs qui ont apporté énergie et bonne humeur dans un millésime difficile. Nous avons hâte de partager les vins de 2026 quand ils seront prêts ! 🍇

The quality of our wines begins in the vineyard, and your commitment through every pruning season, every spring, and every harvest has been the foundation of what we bottle. Nous sommes ravies de vous annoncer que notre “Bouzeron Les Clous” 2024 a été retenu pour la sélection Cave de Prestige 2026 du BIVB.

C’est la troisième année consécutive qu’un de nos vins est sélectionné pour la Cave de Prestige, et la première fois que notre Bouzeron y figure. Seuls 12 % des vins présentés cette année ont été retenus- c’est donc un immense honneur pour nous, pour un vin qui nous est particulièrement cher.

Nous avons hâte de le partager avec vous, dans notre caveau de dégustation, en France comme aux États-Unis, dans les mois à venir !

We’re delighted to share that our Bouzeron “Les Clous” 2024 has been named to the BIVB’s Cave de Prestige selection.

This is the third year in a row that one of our wines has been chosen for the Cave de Prestige, and the first time a Bouzeron of ours has been selected. Only 12% of the wines submitted this year were selected, so this is an immense honor, especially for a wine that is so special to us.

In an attempt to keep the memories and wine going from an epic trip to Burgundy, we’ve tried to slow ourselves down when it comes to enjoying the various bottles we brought home.

But we were missing it, so we decided to crack open this Saint-Romain 2023 from one of our favourite places in Meursault - @maison.shaps

Maureen made our visit, and tasting, a very fun afternoon! It’s definitely worth dropping in if you’re in the area 👌🏼

This wine is every bit as good as we remembered it, maybe a bit more! As soon as we opened it, you get hit with the unmistakable smell of Burgundy. On the palate, it’s fresh, minerality driven, with white fruits and a packed with a creaminess that coats your mouth 🧈

Absolute perfection 🙌🏼

We’re honored to share that our wines can be found at two of the most notable tables in and around Milan — Cascina Moro, a Michelin-Guide-listed farmhouse restaurant full of charm and Mediterranean soul, and Sadler Restaurant, the iconic Michelin-starred fine-dining destination created by Chef Claudio Sadler 🇮🇹✨

Tasting the incredible cuisine at Cascina Moro was amazing — a perfect match for the wines we love to make and share. 🍷🍴 Grateful to these extraordinary restaurants for welcoming us and for pairing our bottles with their beautiful dishes.
