Randomly stumbled upon this super pink, whimsical little café on 📍Queen Street 💗 tried their fall menu and absolutely loved the s’mores cake! and it tastes just as good as it looks🥰

Toronto’s first dollhouse-inspired cafe is anything but basic when it comes to desserts! 🍰✨

maison118 feels like stepping into an extravagant tea party, complete with whimsical decor, pretty desserts and sprinkles for your drinks 🧁

🎃 Pumpkin pie chiffon cake: Light, fluffy and full of cinnamon flavour. A must-try if you love pumpkin pie!

🩷 Pink chai latte: My favourite! The baby pink colour was adorable, and you can add sprinkles to any drink.

🖤 Black sesame egg tart: These were phenomenal. Definitely grab one if you can!

It’s officially time for cozy desserts and fall flavours 🍂🤎

• Sweet Potato Latte ($8.25) – I love sweet potato, so I was excited to try this! The torched pink brûlée on top is so cute, and you can DIY with the sprinkles too 🥹
• Pecan Praline & Fig Basque Cheesecake ($14.95) – creamy vanilla cheesecake paired with nutty pecan praline ganache and sweet fig compote. The fresh figs add a nice fruity touch to balance out the richness.
• Thai Tea Apricot Choux ($8.95) – The Thai tea flavour is quite strong and aromatic (which is good), while the tangy apricot adds a fruity contrast that keeps the sweetness level just perfect.
• Black Sesame Croissant Egg Tart ($7.25) – I was surprised to find two chew balls filled with black sesame inside! So good and easily my favourite of the four 🤎

The cutest whimsical café with unique fall drinks & desserts in Toronto 🩷🍂

Maison 118 launched the cutest fall menu!

One of the highlights is their pumpkin pie chiffon cake, made with pumpkin mousse, pumpkin spice cream and a crispy pumpkin seed praline base 🎃

It’s like a lighter, fluffier version of pumpkin pie. It would be lovely to bring to Thanksgiving dinner or give as a gift 🤎

Other new treats include pecan praline & fig basque cheesecake and honey lavender corn choux, plus fall drinks like pink chai and sweet potato latte ☕️

I loved that the desserts weren’t overly sweet, and everything on the menu was so cute 🎀

i’ve been wanting to try this cafe ever since I started seeing people post about their black sesame croissant egg tart 🥐

glad i got to try some of their fall specials before i leave for asiaaa! i didn’t get to try the new pumpkin pie chiffon cake this time, but i feel like it would be perf for hosting thanksgiving if I was here 🙂‍↕️ (you can order full versions of their cake on their website)

This Pumpkin Pie Chiffon Cake might just be my new favorite way to do pumpkin this season. It’s made with a crispy praline pumpkin seed base, fluffy chiffon cake, pumpkin mousse, and pumpkin spice cream! (basically everything you want in a fall dessert)

Perfect for bringing to Thanksgiving dinner, Friendsgiving, gifting to your host… or keeping for yourself because I fully support that too 😅

this is what a whimsical autumn café looks like 🍂☕️

we tried the sweet potato latte, pink chai with biscoff cold foam, and the vegan kyoto fog topped with soy black sesame cold foam.

all three drinks were really well balanced , we can clearly taste the flavours you’d expect from each name, and nothing feels too heavy or overpowering.

the honey lavender corn choux was also so good and not too sweet. the corn was definitely the highlight for me! it gave the dessert such a unique flavour without making it feel too rich.

Honey Lavender Corn Choux 🌽💜🧀🍯

As we say goodbye to our jasmine pineapple choux, we welcome our newest addition!

Filled with roasted corn ganache, corn chocolate, dollop of honey lavender caramel, caramelized cornflakes and a parmesan tuille!

We know there’s a lot of corn desserts out there and we really wanted to launch one that was special and reflected our own style!
