We fill almost every gap now…. A podcast while we drive.
Music while we train.
Scrolling while we wait.
Plans in every free afternoon. Then we wonder why we can’t hear our own ideas anymore. Sometimes creativity needs boredom - not doing nothing, just enough empty space for your mind to wander somewhere it hasn’t been directed to go. 🌺 There’s science behind that too. When we’re not constantly focused on an external task, the brain has more room to wander, make unexpected connections and process things in the background. It’s why ideas often come in the shower, on a walk or when you’re doing absolutely nothing. Spiritually, I think it’s similar. It’s hard to hear your intuition when you’re constantly consuming everyone else’s thoughts, opinions and energy. ✨ So create a little more space. Block out two hours once a week for things that bring you inward - breathwork, journaling, reading, walking, making something, sitting with a tea, coffee or matcha. 🍵 And if you can, give yourself another couple of hours with no plan at all. No productivity target.
No obligation.
No need to make the time useful. Just see where your mind goes. Less input. More space. More curiosity. A big part of what I love about breathwork is that it creates that doorway too - space to slow down, breathe, reflect and hear what’s underneath all the noise. 🧘 I’m currently offering 1:1 breath sessions in Fremantle for anyone wanting space to breathe, move, reflect, reconnect and map out what’s next. Currently obsessed with my meditation cushion from @maison_snail + this beautiful space @palmyrapilates 🤍❤️ by @maison_snail

Early mornings, ocean air + a little more stillness. 🌙 I’m OBSESSED with this meditation cushion @maison_snail It’s filled with buckwheat hulls with a supportive insert, it feels grounded and comfortable while still keeping me lifted through my hips and spine. A very simple addition to a ritual I’m trying to make more space for lately 🤍 Wearing my beautiful jacket from @__onekta ❤️ by @maison_snail
