Crafted from solid walnut, it is designed to make the assembly experience more comfortable by raising your work surface and allowing you to place your assembly book directly in front of you. 📖
Integrated armrests help stabilise your movements and reduce the risk of scratches, while drawers keep your tools and components organised throughout the assembly process.

50 Nostromos… plus one very special 51st piece 😉

During Geneva Watch Days, we’re inviting visitors to our M.A.D.Gallery to get behind the watchmaker’s bench and help us assemble Nostromo #51, piece by piece.

Everyone who takes part in the assembly will automatically be entered into a raffle at the end of the show, with one lucky participant taking the completed Nostromo home 🤩

And to make the experience even better, @alcee_montfort will be with us throughout Geneva Watch Days, ready to guide visitors through the assembly and share the story behind their creation.

Introducing Nostromo, an alien-like co-creation with our good Friends at @maisonalcee 👽

We’ve loved what Maison Alcée has been doing since the very beginning. Founded by Alcée and Benoît Montfort, their idea is as unusual as it is brilliant: instead of simply buying a beautiful mechanical clock, they give you everything you need to build it yourself. In fact, the MB&F M.A.D.Gallery was the very first boutique to believe in their project.

So for our @mbfmadgallery ‘s 15th anniversary, it felt only natural to create something together. The result is Nostromo – a true co-creation between our two worlds, designed by MB&F Creative Designer @maximilianmaertens and crafted by Maison Alcée!

Inspired by Max’s love for H.R. Giger and the Alien universe, Nostromo is an alien-like mechanical clock composed of 222 components, which you assemble yourself in around 10 hours, even with no previous watchmaking experience.

Once brought to life, it displays hours, minutes and seconds, features an hour chime, offers a 14-day power reserve… and can even rotate on its three organic-looking legs.

Each Nostromo comes with all the necessary tools and a 250-page illustrated instruction book to guide you through the journey.

The progression of the 29.5-day lunar cycle appears at the bottom right of the dial and advances by one day every midday. To set it, the moon phase number can be adjusted by hand directly on the ratchet. by @maisonalcee
