For a long time, swimwear has been designed around categories.
Around labels.
Around who bodies were “supposed” to be.

We wanted to start somewhere else:
the body itself.

Fashion belongs outside, too.

PASSAGE project x maison andi transformed a fragment of the Canal Saint-Martin into a temporary runway, creating a dialogue between fashion, bodies, architecture and the people who happened to be there.

A fleeting intervention. A shared space. A different way of being seen.

For our first collaboration with @passage_platform, andi left the traditional runway behind.

Bare feet on pavement. Swimwear in the middle of Paris. Bodies existing freely in a space that belongs to everyone.

For PASSAGE x maison andi, the runway moved into public space, bringing different bodies, identities and expressions into the everyday landscape of Paris.

The city becomes a runway.

maison andi is the first guest of @passage_platform a cultural initiative founded by @danielabuenoelston exploring the relationships between fashion, architecture and public space through temporary urban interventions.

For one evening, bodies, movement and the city came together along the Canal Saint-Martin.
