A thank you post to the people who got me to the start and finish line of the @letapefemmes

I reunited with my longtime coach, Steve Weller, owner of @bell_lap_official

Steve has been instrumental in all my cycling goals including racing the 2010 World Cyclocross Championships in Tabor, CZ.

Thank you Steve. You got me fit, strong, and excited about riding bikes fast again.

Paul Kernaghan of @613_fitness is a kinesiologist, coach, trainer, and great human.

Thanks to Paul I built real functional strength and mobility. I had zero upper body fatigue after riding for 6.5 hours.

As happens with training, I did develop a few aches.

Regular massages with @craigveer helped my legs and feet recover and stay fresh.

My husband, Marc, is my biggest cheerleader, supporter, confidence booster, and believer.

No dream or goal is too crazy for Marc. When I suggested riding the @letapefemmes - he immediately said yes.

@sherijaycoaching is my friend, mentor, and coach. Leading right up to the ride she gave me the mental tools I needed to build confidence and stay calm on the day.

The Osgoode Biker Gang was with me for so many long rides and knowing they were cheering for me meant so much.

Rob Sule of @maisonsule for taking me out on rides leading up to the big day. Thanks to Rob I was familiar with the first 90 km of the course and he helped me with my descending.

And last, but not least, my parents, for looking after Calvin for us.

Remember, you can do hard things. Dream big. Do the thing.
