Earthy Palette / Terracotta — Europe (Mediterranean — Spain, Italy, Portugal) #interiors #residential #interiordesigninspiration #interiores #luxury by @maisonuniverselle

Luxury editorial interior photograph featuring a large-scale Aboriginal Australian dot painting as a dramatic statement wall piece. The artwork uses the classic dot painting technique in rich ochre, deep red, white, and black — concentric circles and flowing patterns representing sacred land and dreamtime stories. Hung in a sophisticated high-end living room with natural linen sofas, raw timber, and warm ambient lighting. Mood: ancestral, commanding, deeply spiritual. #luxuryinteriordesign #highendinteriors #luxuryhomes #interiordesignworld #architecturaldigest residentialdesign commercialdesign hospitalitydesign luxuryrealestate interiorarchitecture boutiquehotels designinspiration luxuryliving artisancraft collectibledesign globaldesign interiorstyle designcurator bespokefurniture luxurylifestyle by @maisonuniverselle

The art is in the unexpected.

A richly veined stone beside a softly textured textile. A sculptural object that challenges the lines around it. The quiet interplay of aged brass, deep burgundy, natural wood, and light.

Individually, each element has its own character. Together, they create something far more interesting.

We love the tension between contrasts. The unexpected material pairing. The discovery of an artisan whose work brings an entirely new perspective. The one remarkable piece that changes the conversation.

And perhaps most importantly, the things collected over time — because not everything meaningful should arrive at once.

The magic is rarely in adding more. It’s in knowing what belongs.

Great design is often a collaboration of thoughtful minds, creative perspectives, and carefully considered details.

At Maison Universelle, we love being a part of that process. Whether it’s sourcing distinctive materials, exploring textiles and finishes, refining window treatments, or helping bring a particular design vision into focus, we offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach that complements the work already underway.

Sometimes, a fresh perspective or the right creative resource makes all the difference. We’re here to support your vision, respect your process, and contribute where our expertise can be most valuable.

We are drawn to the unexpected details, the sculptural silhouettes, the richness of natural materials, and the artistry that gives a space its soul.

Because the most memorable interiors aren’t simply decorated.

They are felt.

The world is at a point where knowing — and appreciating — all that is uniquely YOU has a special meaning.

Technology continues to evolve, seemingly without limits. There are pluses and minuses, as with most things. So stay curious, stay informed, but never lose the pleasure of creating, dressing, designing and expressing from your own original point of view.

Looking back at this European editorial shoot reminds me that fashion has always been more than clothing. It is proportion, texture, architecture, art and storytelling — all of the things that continue to inspire the world of Maison Universelle today.

No AI. Just me. 😘

Beautifully inspiring post by @cassiaacarter ♥️

When fashion becomes architecture.
When fabric becomes sculpture.
When the runway becomes a gallery.

This is the kind of beauty that stops you mid-scroll — theatrical, poetic, unapologetically artistic.

At Maison Universelle, inspiration is never confined to interiors. It lives in fashion, art, movement, texture, proportion, and the unexpected details that make us feel something.

A world of texture, atmosphere, sourcing & inspiration.

“Dutch designer Hella Jongerius doesn’t hide a flaw — she gilds it.” Working at the intersection of ceramics and couture, she develops firing techniques where what most would call an imperfection becomes a deliberate decorative moment, often enhanced with gold leaf. Her work has been commissioned by Parisian fashion houses and international luxury collectors. Perfection redefined.
