On Tuesday evening I got my Tele "White Lightning" back with a new B Bender and vintage style bridge. Aaron was incredibly kind. We spent some time talking guitars and fishing while I was there. Glaser Instruments is such a cool shop, and they did an amazing job on the work. The guitar plays and feels better than ever. Yesterday I got to tour RCA Studio B and stand on “the spot.” This is the famous blue X where countless legends recorded. Elvis, Roy Orbison, Charlie Pride, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, The Everly Brothers, and so many others stood right there to sing. I would look up the incredible list this studio has, that is just some of my favorites mentioned. Knowing I was standing in the exact place where so much music history was made honestly gave me chills. Wednesday July 1st I will be playing the National Anthem for South Park BMX!!! 🚲The event will start around 7:00 and I hope to see some of my PGH friends around for this awesome event! It is free to watch and you can bring your own food and drink as well. Last night was a full circle moment. I decided to post this work in progress today because of the passing of Walter Parazaider. He brought the horns to the rock band and booked many of @chicagotheband early gigs! Without his idea, who knows if one of my favorite bands would've ever came to be! His flute solo on colour my world is still one of the best solos I ever came across. Red- King CrimsonThis song always was a favorite of mine since I put the needle on the record when I got it from my grandfather's record collection.
