June - July ,was all about contrasts and adventures

1. evening swims in Corfu, highly recommend
2. secret not so secret but faked it anyway- baby shower for Fien! almost ready to meet the little princess 🦋🌸

Scotland! you magnificent son of a bitch!
Very easy to fall in love with this country, the people,the nature, the atmosphere are all on point.

I embarked on a sailing journey to explore the wild Hebrides with @sailbritain and 5 total strangers / sailing noobs,trying to find the beauty that this part of Scotland has to offer. I can tell you, things did not go as planned or as expected,but for complete sailing virgins and confidant landpeople, i feel like we really made the best of it and handled the bad luck and situations really well!

we couldn't of done it without our amazingly brilliant skipper @coldwilderness aka "the count of Banterburry" and his first mate @chris_is_somewhere_at_sea aka "shady shades" .
These two heroes, putting on a great show and tell and coursing our way through the loch's and sea's, getting us safe and steady around the Hebrides.

I feel like when you look at the Instagram side of @sailbritain you only get the Sunnyside of the hebrides and what the trip has to offer, as for us, we experienced what this magnificent place can also be like in other weather conditions. Rough,gloomy, challenging and wet. Not easy or comfortable at all for a first sail experience but definitely one we'll talk about for a while to come. When the going gets tough,the tough get going!

It was wonderful sailing with this bunch of cuties and testing the limits of one's boundaries, whilst learning a lot about sailing,history, nature,birds,maritime stuff, but most of all that :

WATERPROOFS ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!!

time for a shower and a good's night sleep
