2025: another year of challenges, new dreams, new problems, new levels of sadness alongside new levels of joy and gratefulness. Accomplishments, gigs, stress, imposter syndrome, love, confusion. All the good and bad stuff. Am slowly adjusting my understanding of what actually matters in this life, and it’s mostly just feeling human and surrounding myself with people who make me learn or feel something positive. I said yes to a lot of stuff this year with no real plans and opened myself up to a lot of beautiful moments by doing so. Feels like there’s too many moments to capture in one post, but also don’t let social media fool you into thinking everything is perfect for everyone. Behind all the smiles are struggles we all face in private, but it’s all part of life and it’s all good at the end of the day with the right attitude.Here’s to more yes’s in 2026, more vibes and love overall ❤️ thanks to all the legends in my life who keep me grounded and who made this year so special. by @maja_c

I turned 40 last weekend and the shock of reaching such a milestone was nothing compared to experiencing the absolute shock of my life when my sister surprised me all the way from Australia 🥹 I moved to London 12 years ago, and this was her first-ever time here and was part of an elaborate plan that’s been in the works since January with all my friends in on it. Seeing her walk into the room was one of the most wonderfully overwhelming and surreal moments I’ve ever experienced. What followed was one of the best weeks of my life, getting to show her around the city i’ve made my home and introducing her to all the incredible humans I have surrounded myself with.A massive thank you to @erh1183, @annajanef, @lisakey101 and @subsoulrich for planning all the little details with so much thought and care ❤️ The level of effort you all put in means more to me than I can begin to express.Special thanks to my birthday twin @ukfluke who graciously let me take the spotlight for the day 🤣 and to @_baileyhyatt_ for filming the surprise and editing an epic b’day message vid from loved ones who couldn’t make it on the day. Also huge thanks to everyone who came to and who played at my party (big up Rich, @sillohmusic, @dave.columbo.jenkins & @kt_junglist) - i’ve been absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude this week, struggling to find the right words to express just how much love I feel for everyone and just feeling so damn lucky to have you all in my life!! You’ve all filled my heart in ways I didn’t think were possible ❤️ What a way to kick off 40 - don’t fall for stereotypical age panic, it’s all a crock of bs and all that matters is genuine connections and feeling grateful for the journey 🙏 by @maja_c

Absolutely buzzing after my first ever @internationalmusicsummit in Ibiza 🌴 conquered some serious fear and spoke on two panels with peers I massively admire. Incredible to see jungle drum & bass represented and recognised at the summit for the first time this year, and truly honoured to have been asked to be involved. Infinite love and respect to @silvias.voicebox and everyone behind the scenes for all the hard work and making this happen. Special shout to my gyals @whiskykicks & @missaim for all the fun vibes, my AEI crew for the endless support and everyone I saw and met along the way 🙌And last, but not least, @sherelle_, MC Chickaboo, @lens_dnb, @charlieteedj, @dj_krust, @baileyintabeats & @marksystemuk for the incredible sets and reminding me why I love this genre so very much ❤️‍🔥 by @maja_c

2024 🗓️ I laughed a lot, i worried a lot. I was grateful a lot. It was a year of experiences, altogether great and challenging. Was it better or worse than others? It doesn’t really matter does it? The next one steamrolls in whether you like it or not. Can you control what happens next? Maybe, maybe not. I’m going in hopeful and grateful anyways 🩷 by @maja_c

Feeling grateful after a wonderful weekend in Prague for @letitrollfestival 🥰 the last one in the airfield, am very lucky to have made so many lovely memories in that place over the years.My heart is full having met and seen so many beautiful people over the weekend, and doing it all with @ukfluke, @hopenolanwigg & @_baileyhyatt_ made it all the more special 🫂🫂 Here’s to the next chapter 🚀 by @maja_c
