Drawing session with dancers Waileth & Bardon. It goes so bloody fast, there is no time to worry about the result. #drawingdance #pencildrawing #sketchbook #drawing by @majalindn

Summer summary 2026! Summer started off with residency at Malmö Inter Arts Center with dancers Waileth & Bardon. It was so great, to have time to develop our project Rituals for a future religion. Then I held the sommer course Drawing the Human figure at Sörängens folkhögskola with the lovely group of people in the second photo. 💕Thank you @sorangens, it could not have gone better! Vacation drawing; a lot of different, small objects, then two drawings from our week at Herräng Dance Camp, where we had the use of the formidable Love Van. When in Malmö painting on Hive Mind, showing in the last photo from my artist friend Ingela's studio, which she kindly lets me use while my ordinary studio is going through renovations. Last, but not least, opening night of Skånska Konstnärsklubben group exhibition at Limhamns konsthall. Summer ended sadly with my dad breaking his hip, which is troublesome for the whole family. #sᴜᴍᴍᴇʀ2026 by @majalindn

Summer drawing to calm your nerves:
1) Pick a small object you really enjoy looking at.
2) Copy every single detail on a 1:1 scale. I'm using a normal clickable lead pencil.
3) Spend a huge amount on time on this.
4) Enjoy the result, it will exceed you expectations.
5) Enjoy your calm, happy state of mind.
If you do this, please tag me! I would love to see!😍#drawingtocalmyournerves #pencildrawing #drawingexercise #noai by @majalindn

Exercising my drawing hand. I think one of the big stupid myths about drawing is that you have to be very talented, and then it will just come without effort. Drawing is a bit like writing, I think... everyone can do it with a bit of time and practice. But as for the TIME part... sometimes I think the quality of the drawing is only depending on how much time you are willing to spend on it. #drawing #summerdrawing #drawingexercises by @majalindn
