First miniature finished for a new army project: The Lost Fleets of Ultramar.
I wanted to take a grounded, believable artistic approach with this force. The idea is based around 4 fleets of Ultramarines swallowed by the warp during the Heresy, emerging ten thousand years later into the 41st millennium.

The Lore
During the Horus Heresy, elements of the XIII Legion were cut off by the Ruinstorm and trapped within the warp. Through rigid discipline and constant fighting, they endured ten thousand years (to them however it was onlyn few hundred years) of exile without falling to corruption.
When the Great Rift tore open, they finally broke back through to realspace.

The start of my #genesischapter , a #spacemarine captain, ancient and lieutenant all of the 2nd company. First amongst the #ultramarines Primogenitor Chapters to be raised (and hence their name), the Genesis Chapter is dogmatically loyal to the #imperium of Man and the memory of their #Primarch #robouteguilliman , and can be counted upon to fight at the Ultramarines' side without hesitation.

Dark Apostle of the Word Bearers Legion. These are the Heretic Astartes Chaplains and one of the de facto leaders of the Word Bearers Traitor Legion, second in power and command only to the Legion's primarch Lorgar, though Dark Apostles have been encountered as dark missionaries in the other Traitor Legions.

The Dark Apostles of the Word Bearers collectively rule the XVIIth Legion through the instrument of the Dark Council, which is comprised of the most senior of their membership.

The Glooming Lords is a warband or vectorium of Heretic Astartes of the Death Guard Traitor Legion's 6th Plague Company. The Glooming Lords are a morose host of killers who march to war surrounded by colossal clouds of droning black Daemon-flies. They harbour a particular hatred for the sorcerous warbands of Tzeentch, whose vibrant, colourful vigour they regard as insufferable. Belonging to the 6th Plague Company, the Ferrymen, the Glooming Lords are led by heavy formations of Blightlord Terminators. Their bodies seethe with crawling flies as they crush the enemy contemptuously underfoot.

An inceptor who is usually part of a close support Inceptor Squad, is the standard Jump Pack-equipped heavy assault unit of the #primaris #SpaceMarines who wear the Gravis variant of Mark X Power Armour and wield twin Assault Bolters into combat.
Amongst the swiftest-moving elements of an Adeptus Astartes strike force, Inceptors fill the role of spearhead troops. They hit the enemy in one sudden and overwhelming blow, leaving them reeling as follow-up waves of Space Marines drive home the attack.
Thanks to @deadlyprintstudio for the parts!

Dont be stupid and assume this post shows political support. I've been working for sometime now on my #diorama of a #russian #t72b3 from #meng and I thought showing one in the most recent Ukrainian war. absolutely fantastic kit and it was alot of fun to weather and try to use snow for the first time. I think it looks decent enough for a first attempt and will be better for my next Ukrainian tank diorama.

Seeing everyone painting #orks got me a bit excited so here are my #ork #kommando #nobz until my actual killteam arrives ! Tried to go with a weird orkish camouflage scheme and I think this one fits in well with ork mentality of camouflage! Also enjoyed doing the rust effects for the pipes using @ammomig Products.
