🇸🇰❤️ Back home in Southern Slovakia!

Perfect weather, beautiful vineyards, and a great opportunity to run the local 7 km trail race BioBeh. 🏃‍♂️🍇

Huge thanks to the organizers for inviting me to join the local running community. It was such a pleasure to share the trail with so many old friends, catch up along the way, and even see the kids of friends out there running too. ❤️

There’s something special about coming home and finding that, even after all these years, the same connections and love for running are still there. Great atmosphere, sunshine, familiar faces, and trails through the beautiful countryside of Southern Slovakia.

Also the cherry on top of cake out little Matus winning his race ! I managed 4th in age group 🤭😃

Some things never change. ❤️🧗

Climbing at the andesite rocks of Sitno with old friends — some I haven’t seen in at least a decade.

And somehow, we’re back in the same place, doing the same thing, laughing like we’re kids again. Only this time, most of us are in our 40s. 😄

Life takes us in different directions, years fly by, and everyone has their own story. But put us back on the rock together, and it feels like nothing has changed.

Same passion. Same friendships. Same feeling of freedom.

Maybe that’s the beauty of climbing — it’s never just about the rock. It’s about the people you share it with.

Here’s to old friends, familiar places, and still being kids at heart. 🤘

We went out to climb Riverrun… somehow ended up climbing Tonka — “The Gift” 5.10d instead 😂🤦🏼‍♂️

Amazing slabs, all about trusting your feet and finding holds in all kinds of shapes and places. Fun, technical climbing on some absolutely gorgeous, sun-soaked rock. ☀️🧗‍♂️

And yes… I did mark the Riverrun location in Garmin Explore this time. 😂

Hello Fenix ! When I got the option to move to the fēnix 9 Pro with inReach, one thing I already knew — I wanted the MIP display.
AMOLED looks incredible. But for the way I use my watch, MIP makes more sense.
☀️ Excellent readability in direct sunlight
🔋 Lower power consumption and longer battery life
🗺️ Easy to read while running, cycling or skiing
❄️ Works well in the cold and on long days outside
🧭 Always-on information without needing that bright AMOLED look
For me, a watch isn’t just something I wear every day. It’s part of my kit when I’m out for hours — sometimes all day — in the mountains, on the run or on a long day backcountry skiing or backpacking .
So this wasn’t really about which display is better.
It was about which one fits the way I adventure.
MIP + Solar + inReach felt like the right combination for me. Btw Enduro3 still absolutely amazing watch! Will still be in my rotation! Massive thank you @garmincanada ! Lots adventures together…

Yesterday I officially became a @garmincanada ambassador 🇨🇦

Pretty cool moment for me, especially after years of running, cycling, skiing and now getting back into climbing.

My new Fenix 9 Pro Solar is on the way, but until it arrives, the Enduro 3 is still coming with me.

More adventures, more testing, more stories from the Canadian mountains.

I started climbing when I was 7 years old. Somehow I’ve done a full circle since then — ultra running, skiing, cycling, and all the adventures in between.

But deep inside, I still love the vertical world.

Maybe it’s the exposure, maybe it’s the freedom, but mostly it’s the people and friendships I found along the way.
