Common Thread, the debut pattern book by Japanese knitwear designer Rui Yamamuro (@ruiyamamuro), based in Paris.

We are so happy and honoured to see our yarns featured in one of Rui’s beautiful designs in the book ✨ The sweater in the photo is knitted in Fine Merino and Pearl Mohair color 200 ORGANDY.

The title plays on the phrase “a common thread,” which refers to a shared characteristic or underlying theme. In knitting, literal thread brings our craft to life. This thread also symbolizes the author’s desire to connect people and the handcrafts from the past to those of the future, all through a single thread.
