A Moth sits upon a wall. A stranger watches, judging the creatures belonging.
"You shouldn't be here" says the stranger
"Who are you to say? For I belong where I choose to be." Awnsers the moth
"This is a place of man, that wall and this air dont belong to the likes of moths!" Yells the stranger
"But we are one in the same are we not? We both desire to live in peace and exist as we wish, why must we moths be forgotten, relegated to the night?" Ponders the moth
"We are far from the same! We have a future and dreams! Things a lowly moth may never understand!" Argues the man
"I have many dreams, and I strive for a future that I may not ever experience, for I have hope."
The moth states
"What good is hope when you'll never fit in" asks the stranger
"Its the moonlight guiding us forward, us moths must hope and follow the light forward as the dark will take us nowhere" says the moth
The stanger simply stares a moment before speaking one last time,"Must life be so difficult? Must we need such false promises to give ourselves a reason to keep going?"
The moth begins to fly away, yet leaves the stanger with some parting words, "perhaps its the life of man that is truly the hardest to endure"
The stranger simply sat with those words for a long moment, before turning to the door. by @majora1476
