little things i made over little things i saw & captured by @majothefairy
last january i said i was going to lose the fear of being online—que le iba a perder el miedo a estar aquí. creo que lo he hecho y al mismo tiempo ya no importa. social media feels different now. everyone is online, everything is an ad, and there’s less and less connection. i don’t want to add to the noise—we’re oversaturated, y se sabe. we all know this is just a snippet, yet i find myself thinking about how to show the totality of my being. how really good moments can exist inside really terrible times. how both can coexist. i’ve learned how important it is to share your lows with others, yet the internet doesn’t need more pictures of anyone crying. i’ve been sharing on my newsletter, entre la sala y el comedor. i write about how moving all over the world my whole life. about being multicultural and having love scattered everywhere. love that feels far, and sometimes it just is. i’ve always been good at sharing in person, but i’m trying to i remember how social media can help us connect. l’m nostalgic and sensitive and i take photos to remember, to collect and to share. here are some photos on film from last year. i think i’ve been looking for green. 🐛🌀🐚🫛🪷⭐️ by @majothefairy
