Nomad Space is looking for visual artists, composers, musicians, and sound artists to help us create new work inspired by downtown Orlando.
Nomad Space is a new collaborative public-art project coming to Orlando. It will be part virtual contemporary-art museum, part crowdsourced urban research project, and part exploration of the city’s history and architecture—with an interactive mobile-gaming element added as the project develops.
We are selecting significant buildings and other locations throughout downtown. Visual artists will create graphic scores in response to these places, and musicians and composers will interpret the scores as soundtracks. Augmented reality will let visitors experience the visual art and sound at each location.
What is a graphic score?
A graphic score uses images, shapes, symbols, colors, and other visual elements to communicate musical ideas outside conventional written notation. Graphic scores became prominent in experimental music during the 1950s. They can guide performers while also giving them the freedom to interpret the work and participate creatively in its realization.
Nomad Space brings together visual art, music, architecture, history, and technology to encourage people to experience Orlando in new ways.
Interested in participating? Send us a direct message for additional information. You can email Pat Greene, please put Nomad Space in the subject. The email is hearsayu@gmail.com.

This @lego commercial isn’t about me—but somehow, the little boy’s name is Malcolm Jones. And watching it brought me right back to being that little boy myself.

Growing up, I was always building—LEGO, blocks, whatever I could get my hands on. My mom saw something in it before I ever did. She looked at the way I played and created and told me, “You’re going to be an architect.”

Years later, here I am.

There’s something powerful about the people who recognize our gifts before we have the language to understand them ourselves. Sometimes what looks like a child simply playing is actually the beginning of a calling.

So seeing another little Malcolm Jones building, imagining and creating in this beautiful commercial hit a little differently for me.

Shoutout to LEGO for continuing to remind us that creativity starts early—and that sometimes the things we build as children become the lives we build as adults. ❤️🧱🏛️

What do you do when a tenant moves out? You design the building for the next ten.

At 10300 Boggy Creek Road, we’re helping transform a warehouse built for one occupant into a flexible industrial space that can attract a variety of future businesses.

We’re redesigning the layout by condensing the office footprint, adding loading bays, updating restrooms, and modernizing the building to make it more functional, efficient, and attractive to prospective tenants.

The goal isn’t simply to renovate a building—it’s to unlock its next chapter.

Great architecture doesn’t always begin with a blank site. Sometimes it begins with recognizing the value that’s already there and designing for what’s next.

Renew. Reimagine. Revitalize.

Lake Worth Beach housing concept studies — exploring density through a softer residential language.

The apartment building and front/rear townhome concept use a shared material palette of green vertical siding, light masonry, balconies, roof terraces, and tropical landscape to create a coastal housing expression that feels elevated, approachable, and rooted in place.

A study in scale, rhythm, and urban infill by MAJ Architecture + Design.
