I am extremely happy and proud to announce my first big print drop since I’ve launched my website 😍🩷 it even contains yet unreleased stuff!
On Saturday, 18 July 2026, I’ll be releasing a big batch of different prints and stickers from my Stacked: Japan series.
This new collection consists of eight limited edition fine art prints across five different artworks, all printed on premium torchon paper. They are hand-signed, numbered and titled by me.
I’m also adding three new sticker designs that have only ever existed on art markets or freebies before, as well as four postcard designs. They are not limited and it was about time to do this!
I’m really excited to share all of this with you now after working on it behind the scenes for quite some time now.

And one important thing:
🩷 THANK YOU 🩷
Thank you for all the support you’ve shown me and my work, it genuinely means a lot and I’m looking forward to your feedback on the new stuff! And of course I’m looking forward to see these piece finding a new home. 🫶🏼
If you’ve read this far I’ve got a little extra for you: keep an eye out the next few days, there might even be a giveaway coming in…. 🦆 by @majus.hermes

⛩️ Stacked: Japan - Jiro‘s Izakaya
Japanese architecture inspired cityscape

🏮 Located at the end of District 9’s main road, Old Jiro has a small but very famous izakaya. He serves friends and strangers alike with a good price and tasty dishes. Coming here feels like leaving the squirming city behind and stepping into a calm oasis.
🏯 In “Stacked: Japan” I draw imaginary cityscapes that contrast traditional Japanese architecture, futuristic buildings and technology that create a detailed micro-world with different areas to explore on your own.

This is how I’m making my own Art Prints without having to rely on print services, in case you’re interested in what you will get when you buy a print from me.
I just launched a new drop in my store (link in bio) and thought it’d be nice to show you how they’re made. Let me know what you think about this kind of video!
The only reason I’m doing this is because I can supervise the whole process and don’t have to wait for samples, then evaluating, then reordering samples and so on. Good quality is really important to me because I want the prints to feel and look as good as possible. On the other hand it’s very time consuming and sometimes frustrating, when running into some technical issues and the printing is not as fast. by @majus.hermes

Throwback to the first Stacked: Japan drawing I finished. At that point I didn’t knew this style would accompany me for so long while keeping me motivated and not losing interest in it after a short time, which is what usually happens. 😅😍

It’s just too much fun to get lost in all the tiny details!

I recently finished this artwork which I named “The Rift” as part of my Stacked: Japan series. It will be part of the print drop coming this Saturday, if you’d like a nice piece of art for your home 🤍

Tokyo - Railways and Akihabara
Day 3, sketchbook pages 14 & 15
After a whole morning full of exploring museums and the area around it (previous sketchbook post) we made outär way to the infamous „Akihabara Electric Town“. It’s an area full of neonlights, themed with anime and video games. I loved the bustling vibes where you just forget about time and the tired feet. Unfortunately I had a hard time trying to capture the vibe with my aquarelles but I think it turned out alright.
Let me know how you like it, take care 🤍

⛩️ District 42 - Stacked: Japan series
Japanese architecture inspired cityscape

🏮The remainder of a century old part of the city is just being called „District 42“ and is know for the many little shops and izakayas. It’s a place where you can wander through tiny alleys or upwards for a good view over the area for hours and days. At night, hundreds of neon signs and lanterns brighten the dark in a city that never sleeps…

The newest addition to my „Stacked: Japan“ series is called „Hanamikoji“. This is the name of a famous street in Kyoto and the rough translation would be „Blossom Watching Street“. Since the general theme of this artwork is revolving around the famous Sakura 🌸 time in Japan I thought the name was very fitting for this piece. Let me know what you think ✌🏼

Currently working on the shading of one of my new artworks ✌🏼 I love to see the difference before and after shading the drawing with watercolor and I think it really shows with this specific scenery. Had a short moment when I thought I’ll just leave it like that, but that’s something I’ll try on something else 🤔
Anyway, thought you might find it interesting to see, let me know what you think! Thanks for all the lovely feedback, really appreciate it!
