Would have loved to win a contest like this but 7th gives me confidence because I surfed solid against the best kids in the world. I learned so much on this trip surfing, supporting my friends, and competing. Surfing for USA definitely pushed me to try my hardest. Thanks to @orangecountysurfcoaching I would not be at this level without your guidance. Grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for what’s in store in a few years. by @makaicastle
