“Being a Black woman in music is a statement of strength in itself.”-H.E.R.

The music business will forever hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I found my voice, my purpose, and a piece of myself I didn’t even know was missing. Music has connected me to people, places, and moments I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

To @newdgospelchoir , thank you for being my very first organization on campus. You gave me a space to worship freely and use my gift boldly. And to my soprano sisters the BEST section thank you for every note, every laugh, and every prayer. I love you all forever. Keep singing, because music truly unites.

To Music unites being a co-founder of this organization is one of my proudest accomplishments. Special shoutout to @heyyyjamea for trusting me to uphold the vision of MU. Thank you MU for believing in me. Building this with y’all wasn’t easy, but it was worth every moment. To my boys the Triads of Time Y’all stressed me out bad! but yall made it to the end 😂 wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. I can’t wait to see how far this organization goes.

To the Innovative 9 I love y’all the most, and I’m beyond thankful for how you’ve stood by me and Jamea while we figured things out. @_brooklynsimone_ , you’ve truly stepped up and shown what leadership looks like. You’ve done an amazing job as MU president, and I’m so proud of you. To the rest of my team , thank you for being patient, supportive, and real through every moment. No matter where life takes us, y’all will always be my siblings — forever and always.

And to 4006 Collective, y’all are the most talented, creative, and driven group I’ve ever met. Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone. I’m forever inspired by each of you. Can’t wait to see us all at the Grammys one day just watch.

I HEARD IT WAS THE 21st🦋……

To My Beloved Sisters in Different Shoes,

Joining this organization has truly shaped how I lead, love, and view the beauty of Black womanhood. Sisters in Different Shoes showed me that Black women are not a monolith each of us has a unique story, yet we walk together in unity. I wouldn’t have chosen any other sisterhood.

To my sisters, thank you for trusting me as your Chaplain. Praying over this organization and keeping God at the center has been an honor. You gave me space to grow, serve, and pour into others—and I’ll always be grateful.

To THEE 21 Metamorphic Muses my beautiful, colony sisters THEE REALEST to ever do it. You all have shown me what true sisterhood really means. Through the highs, the lows, and everything in between, we held each other down with grace, strength, and love. Even in the tough moments, it was always one band, one sound. From the very beginning, it’s been 21 vs. the world, and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

What we share is rare. We’re more than colony sisters we’re a family. We laugh together, cry together, grow together, and pray together. We’ve created a bond that’s unbreakable, and I carry each of you in my heart every single day. I’m so incredibly proud of every one of you. We didn’t just join something we built something. We laid the foundation, we created a legacy. Love my girls #ppploans forever and always 💕
