1BA end-of-year personal project

This project was created over the course of one month through video calls with friends who remain in Russia while I live in Belgium. During these conversations, I captured hundreds of screenshots, recording ordinary moments of their daily lives.

Through a screen, I continue to participate in friendships that temporarily cannot exist in physical proximity.

The screenshots retain their digital imperfections: compression artifacts, low resolution, visible pixels. They reflect the conditions under which communication takes place for me today, shaped by unstable connections, blocked platforms, and the necessity of using VPNs to stay connected.
