First day of Kindergarten for lil Ryder at Ferndale Lower Elementary (FLower) and 3rd grade for my big guy, Everett at Ferndale Upper Elementary (FUEL)! My artistic, sensitive, wildly-smart first born is 8 years old today. Love this sweetie for everything he is and for making me a mom. This last year, Everett has grown so much, both in hight and maturity. Ev is always singing under his breath and creating interesting art and collecting fun items (this year has been Pokemon to the max!) This kiddo teaches me all the time. Sometimes he knows the answers before I do and I look forward to seeing his brain explode even more when he gets into Upper Elementary next school year. Everett loves to read and tested above grade level in school and as a bookworm through and though, I can’t wait until one day I can introduce him to all my favorites. We have always read so much together and it’s so fun to watch him curl up and read independently. I absolutely adore watching this child grow and can’t wait to see what’s in store for our boo in his 8th year!!! Happy birthday, darling boy ✨❤️💕🎂 by @makedothinksay

My baby is 5?! I can’t believe it. I know it’s cliche, but I wish time could stop so his lil hands and feet would always stay sweet and tiny. Ryder is our lil comedian, artist, musician. He loves playing outside, exploring, singing, dancing, RC cars and Star Wars. He is quick witted, kind, truly sensitive and caring. Ryder gets so much joy from being a little brother to Everett and a big brother to lil Palmer. Everyone who meets Ryder loves him and I am just so happy that I get to be his mama.
