I used to walk through these woods and it was a wonderfully secluded place only a few people knew about. Now, thanks to ‘content creators’ and ‘influencers’, you no longer hear the birds, there’s a queue to get a coffee, litter started appearing in the woodland, and it has become a pit of selfie-taking brats. Way to go. #Highgatewoods by @makeheavenhere

Finally Sainsburys has swapped mushrooms’ plastic tray for a paper one, using much less plastic. It’s about time all supermarkets follow suit and also remove any packaging from things which don’t need it. #Sainsburys #Tesco #Morrison #supermarkets #Breakupwithplastic #savetheplanet #saveearth #noplanetB #bekind #savethebees #climatechange #climatecrisis #reuse #recycle #loveearth #ditchplastic #stoplittering #doyourbit #lovenature #stopwaste #consumeless #wondersofnature #beekind #packaging #mushrooms #autumn by @makeheavenhere

Do you want to help the planet? Stop buying things you don’t need. Only buy things that last. Consumerism contributes to pollution, and CO2 emissions. Find pleasure in other things. There so many more ways to enjoy life, make memories and save the planet at the same time. #Breakupwithplastic #savetheplanet #saveearth #noplanetB #bekind #savethebees #climatechange #climatecrisis #reuse #recycle #loveearth #ditchplastic #stoplittering #doyourbit #lovenature #stopwaste #consumeless #wondersofnature #beekind #London #savetheearth #globalwarming by @makeheavenhere

Grass is completely dry in the parks, in London, UK. Here it was 40 degrees yesterday and today, never before recorded in our history. Clearly not right. These are not the temperatures we should be getting in the UK. Our heatwaves are normally 25-28 degrees. Global warming is unleashing disaster on the planet. We have to change the way we live. We need to do it now. There’s nothing more important than the planet. How is that not obvious?

I Have no intention to advertise this but if Carte d’Or can do it, then surely anyone making ice-cream can. 93% less plastic in their packaging, their boxes are now almost entirely made of paper, while many other brands, including supermarkets ones, keep using loads of plastic in ice cream packaging #Sainsburys #Tesco #Morrison #supermarkets #Breakupwithplastic #savetheplanet #saveearth #noplanetB #bekind #savethebees #climatechange #climatecrisis #reuse #recycle #loveearth #ditchplastic #stoplittering #doyourbit #lovenature #stopwaste #consumeless #wondersofnature #beekind #spring #packaging #icecream #gelato #summer by @makeheavenhere

Evening appointment with the bumblebees - off the tube decided to walk to the local park. Breakfast alfresco is one of the privileges of Summer. It’s so beautiful to spend time out while it is hot and sunny. I pledge to spend as much time out as possible during the Summer months to re-charge for Winter. #Breakupwithcars #Breakupwithplastic #savetheplanet #saveearth #noplanetB #bekind #savethebees #climatechange #climatecrisis #reuse #recycle #loveearth #ditchplastic #stoplittering #doyourbit #lovenature #stopwaste #consumeless #wondersofnature #spring #park #canal #flowers #croissant #alfresco #coffee #summer #orangejuice #eatnatural by @makeheavenhere
