The best wedding photos don’t happen because everything goes to plan… they happen because your photographer knows what to do when it doesn’t.Here’s a few moments from yesterday’s Anand Karaj, and what a day it was! We had a few delays during the morning preparations that could have easily knocked the entire timeline off track. Instead of stressing, we stayed calm, adapted to every change and worked closely with everyone involved to keep the rest of the day running smoothly. By the time we reached the ceremony and portraits, everything was back on schedule, and you’d never know there had been any hiccups.The bride and groom were an absolute dream to work with. They trusted the process, stayed relaxed and focused on enjoying every moment together. That trust makes such a huge difference, and it always shines through in the final images.What really stood out though was the atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, there were smiles, laughter and so much love from both families. Everyone was so welcoming, and those genuine moments are what make Sikh weddings so special to photograph. The secret to amazing wedding photos? It starts long before the ceremony.Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at Paman’s bridal portraits on the morning of her wedding.One thing I always aim for during the morning preparations is to keep the atmosphere relaxed, fun, and enjoyable. Weddings can be emotional and sometimes a little stressful, so I love putting on some music, having a laugh with the family, and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable. When people are relaxed, the photos naturally become more authentic and full of personality.Paman was an absolute pleasure to work with. She trusted the process, embraced every idea, and brought such a calm energy to the morning. Those are the moments that help create photographs that feel genuine rather than forced.This particular morning was a little different from my usual style because we were working with some challenging lighting conditions and harsh natural light. But honestly, that’s one of the parts of wedding photography I enjoy most. Every wedding is different, and adapting to whatever the day throws at you is where experience and creativity really come into play.
