This has been one of the most important decisions I’ve made to publicly declare my faith in Jesus Christ. On December 21st, I was made new in Christ.

The man baptizing me is named John, the same name as John the Baptist, who baptized Jesus. I just thought that was nothing short of the Lord’s work.

Baptism doesn’t mean I’m going to be perfect or that everything will change overnight, but by His grace and mercy, He has washed me clean. Through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, I was able to take off my old clothes and put on new ones, representing Christ.

Thank you to @mywellchurch for making this happen, even though baptisms are usually done at a later date. I wanted to make it a priority to get baptized before heading off for next season. My mother, Lena, and John made it happen.

God is good. 🙏
