It still amazes me that this is just flour, water, and salt.

It probably could've proofed a bit longer but it is light, fluffy, and yummy by @makeloafnotwar

Trying to branch away from boring scoring. I usually stick with my one lil wheat stalk and an expansion score, so I wanted to try something new! Four wheat stalks. 🥴

Happy with the bake 👌 But my Thai rice flour always seems to absorb into the bread more than other people's loaves. If anyone has read this far and has any insight on that, I'm all ears. Pun intended.

some more sourdough pumpkins ☺️

I'm going to try some pumpkin shaped enriched dough soon. I have a few people who've requested a pumpkin shaped loaf for Thanksgiving and I think a soft dinner roll texture would be nice.

I mean, even real pumpkins are a lil wonky sometimes, so... This is pretty realistic. And totally intentional. 🎃🧡

I got my first 50lb bag of flour yesterday 😄
I'm sure I'm the last to know about this loophole, but you can buy stuff from restaurant depot without a membership if you use instacart. Even with instacart's added costs it was still cheaper than going to my local store and buying this amount person (and that's including BJ's or Costco). by @makeloafnotwar

Crumb shot. I just love the sound of this bread lol. The texture is incredible too. So pillowy and soft. I'll definitely be using wheat bran to dust more often. 🌾🥖
